A neighbour of a friend of mine bought his son a Raspberry Pi when they first came out. He was a troubled lad with a bleak future ahead of him, but next year he should start a computing course at Cambridge University. They money he has made from Apps that he has written should earn him enough to pay his fees, rent, and a whole lot more. A true piece of magic.

Why some people are commenting about his VOICE and or his ACCENT, instead of the content of the video. Try to learn a new language and we will see about your accent.
@theARMYGamer6 жыл бұрын
English is actually the national language of india next to hindi. We do not need to learn a new language when indians are taught english. The big issue is that the people that teach indians english have been taught english with the same accent for generations. His video is good but hard to decipher without subtitles

Nice video, a bit heavy on the accent, but mostly coherent. Maybe try turning the music down a bit? Anyway, I can appreciate that you actually bought and tested a Pi instead of just compiling info from online sources. (I am aware that this is almost 5 years old)

You have shown a HDD. which is without external power. Will Pi 3 supply enough power to run a simple USB HDD which is not externally powered?
@Gatrehs6 жыл бұрын
That shouldn't be a problem, if you want to pull a lot of power out of your USB ports though you should consider getting a higher amp version of the wall socket mini USB charger. For example you could get a 2.6A version instead of a 1.5A version and you should be able to run one in each USB port without problems :) (If you don't quite know what I'm talking about here, try finding a "Fast phone charger" and use that instead)

Guys, I am not a tech savvy person so I need your expertise. I have a Tivo Roamio Plus with a lifetime subscription and I watch live TV and record TV shows with my Tivo. I really like using Tivo. It's very simple. Recently my roommate told me I might be able to get a Raspberry Pi, connect it to my modem/router and "perhaps" use it to watch my Tivo shows without commercials for the rest of my life? Is this possible? If possible, please let me know what steps I need to take to do so.

PLEASE HELP! Can we run raspberry pi as ardunio. I mean as in ardunio if we upload a code once and if we run it after power off and on it will directly start running that code. Can i do the same with the pi. I want the pi to directly run a code when i power it up. without going to the monitor menu and and executing that code file. Ex i want to use pi as a cpu of a robot i cant connect with pi to a laptop and run the code every single time i switch on the robot.
