You can broadcast FM low power without having a problem with the FCC. There are all kinds of devices that are already doing this.

I was about to say, weren't the mini FM station generators (for playing your music in your car etc. without a direct connection) a thing? I remember seeing them sold in multiple places quite visibly in the UK and thought that it would be similar in the US...

Honestly I was pretty impressed that it corrected itself so quickly , it may have took a second , BUT was able to recover and determine the correct object in a relatively short amount of time. For such a low powered board , I can't be anything but impressed. These Guys over at Idein have been working on this for 2 years , they started with machine vision using RPi0's . Then, added facial recognition & finally using the concept of the 'Xbox Kinnect ' Idein.inc implemented gait tracking (by upgrading to Rpi3). All of this on such cheap hardware is amazing , because when I think AI I think $20k Scientific Workstation , not $10-$35 SBC lol . Obviously it has its limits , nevertheless very promising especially with this 8GB model 4B . Even at the higher price point.

I was looking to do something on a pi 2 like pirate box, and decided instead of Library Box, to just have a web server to either download or upload files and to have a forum on it like simple machine forums. I got it up and running, the initial page served took forever but after that web pages served quickly. I got a little travel router to use as its wifi, in order to have an external firewall, but I haven't gotten around to figuring out the openwrt low level details; the normal modes of the travel router puts the wifi on the inside of the LAN. The travel router seems to use less than 1 watt of power.

If memory serves, a private citizen/business can broadcast about 500 feet on FM (not sure if it's supposed to be tied to a fixed location though, as in, not while driving around). This is how real estate used to sell houses back in the late 80s. You'd drive by a house and the for sale sign would tell you to tune to an FM station and they'd be broadcasting info on that house from a device inside.

The difference is it wasn'tliive like the Ob. Recognition he showed, I had to take screenshots and then they'll be processed, but I think it is possible to make Live Object Recognition with the Pi 3, although it may work much slower than the 4

I had this horrible problem too when I installed mine two weeks ago. Was a Nightmare. None of the online solutions worked. Except this article. www.element14.com/community/community/raspberry-pi/blog/2019/09/14/asla-audio-glitch-issue-pi-4-fix Every time I tried installing new software, the problem would come back and I’d have to use this solution again. I don’t know how to permanently fix it.

That tpu will it help to boost my slow Ubuntu laptop? Or is in onze for ai

Good question. It's only optimal for specific cases. It won't help speed up your laptop in general. The best was to speed up a laptop is to install an SSD and reduce the number of unnecessary processes running in the background.

Im completely new to Pi. As a HAM operator with an Extra License I enjoy HF radio, but am looking ahead to some Allstar Network, and some other projects. Starting with an Allstar Node build this week. Dont really know where to begin, but Im sure I will jump in and mess some stuff up 😁

Hi TJ FREE. I'm TJ HATT. Just wanted to mention that mixing 18650 batteries, especially with different MAHs, could be potentially dangerous. Thanks for the video! Take care. (:

Hi TJ HATT! That is good info. The 18650s do scare me. I have a good charger/tester for them, and try to match up ones that will play nice together, ;).

for the NAS setup, it's great but even on the raspberry 3b it's super super slow, you have any workarounds for that?

Can you attach that Raspberry Pi to diagnose car codes
@TJFREE
@TJFREE 4 жыл бұрын
Good question. I think it requires additional hardware. There is a project called AutoPi that might have that functionality, but I'm not too familiar with it.
