The things I like about Ethiopian they are proud of their own culture, like one another, and the educated ones are proud to be an African ❤️👍

Great tips!! Most foreigners or tourists make generalizations that all African countries speak as a national language French or English. Actually that’s not true. The fact is Ethiopia is not Francophone or Anglophone country. We learn foreign languages in schools. We are proud Africans.

we r african yes but we can differenciate other africans from the ordinary ethiopians so some ppl call them africans regradless the country they come from
@mwangigitau286
@mwangigitau286 2 жыл бұрын
@@birukbelayneh5759 then that would mean they Ethiopians aren't Africans. Also what the standard look for an Ethiopian? The Oromo look differently from the Amhara and Tigrai. People from SNNP also have their own distinctive look. So what's the standard Ethiopian look that makes them everything else except "African"?
@birukbelayneh5759
@birukbelayneh5759 2 жыл бұрын
@@mwangigitau286 that kind of mentality came since africa was colonised by europe. when ethiopia was the only country that wasnt colonised some ppl adapted the mentality of differenciating ethiopians and africans even though they are africans like u said there are different features of facial looks but no matter what how ethiopians look some but not all have such mentality of not calling them selves africans

I think we should keep how it is now .. since the second biggest semitic speakers are in ethiopia after arabic The first biggest cushitic language is spoken in ethiopia oromic .. and others , its kept language and culture of ethnicities intact .. so shouod be kept Also Not bad to learn english as an international language .. but locals speak with their language
