He maybe had all these hospitals made and come up with ways to help people of low income to survive by creating the food vouchers and got further than anyone with brexit by proving the EU will only listen to a man when he gave them the same deal as Theresa May did by changing some words. The point is the prime minister shouldn’t have broken the law including the ones he created and shouldn’t have allowed people to break the law during lockdown in his own house the place where he worked and lived. He and many others in his party insulted the Magna Carta. We voted for a man that broke the law and we’re very upset by this fact. Having a party during lockdown when he told no one is allowed to do anything after losing jobs, family members and can’t celebrate a birthday or have a Christmas party and more to the pandemic. He and several others were doing that behind the backs of the citizens of the UK. A leader leads by example not break their own laws and get away with it. The Magna Carta was created for that reason.

Johnson was never "voted out of office in favour of Sadiq Khan" as Mayor of London. He had done two 4-year terms by 2016 and din't stand again. Sadiq Khan won against 11 other candidates, the closest being the Tory Zac Goldsmith and Sian Berry for the Greens. BoJo had promised not to stand for parliament again while he was Mayor, but broke his promise and got elected as MP for Uxbridge & South Ruislip in 2015. The GL Tories were furious with him about that and wouldn't have selected him as their Mayoral candidate even if he'd wanted it.

I’ll say this much for Boris-back in the first lockdown when we were scared by constant media stories and they did daily televised briefing, Boris always seemed confident, optimistic and I often felt better after watching his positivity. Obviously this only lasted a few weeks but still!

My view on this is that he probably did go to intensive care as a precautionary measure because apparently he’s worth more than everyone else. The ICU nurse has been on TV saying that he gave 1-to-1 monitoring and care throughout the night, didn’t leave Johnson’s bedside. So Little Lord Fauntleroy had his special brand of entitlement served up by the NHS presumably while other covid patients had to get by on normal levels of care.

Yep, in the early days of the pandemic, when I was living overseas in a country that had already shut down, I would scream at the tv daily when they were reporting that they had flights from all over the world landing the UK and were just letting the passengers wander off of their own accord, without any testing. I could not for the life of my understand why they were doing nothing. Complete, utter neglect of the situation that cost so many lives!

As a scruffy teenager newly arrived in London to start my grown-up life, I explored our wonderful city on foot. To clarify some things; he was never “voted out of office” as mayor. He resigned to pursue his career as an MP. ..I know this and I live in Canada. Secondly, why did you mention a Sikh MP disagreeing with him? Sikhism is not Islam, so his denouncing of Boris means as much as anyone else.

Boris wasn't "voted out" as London Mayor. He didn't stand in 2016, the Conservative candidate was Zac Goldsmith. Get it right!

To be fair, referring to Africa as "that country" is not that big of a deal. How many people outside of Europe see the EU as a country? How many people refer to the USA as America, disregarding that Canada and all of central and South America are also America?

You make a good point especially with people refereeing to the US as America and implying that is the whole of the Americas. I think it's more that he is a politician who was a foreign secretary that thinks Africa is a country... Working in a government in a country that owned many African Colonies..

You are wrong to say he was voted out of office as London Mayor in favour of Sadiq Khan. Boris did not run against Khan as he had become an MP again. Khan ran against Zac Goldsmith.
