"Fast travel" can _technically_ be possible if you lose consciousness and have someone else take you to a place while unaware. Since you have no concept of time and you're waking up somewhere totally different it's...kinda...the same...

There are many games where your inventory slots are limited & you can expand your capacity, also in certain games you can become overencumbered if you're carrying too much loot which impairs movement as well as preventing you from fast travel

That "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" parody was on par with when Little Kuriboh parodied all of "Under Pressure" for his Naruto Abridged...Abridged thing he did. Actually wait, he did the entire song and you guys just did the first verse to the start of the first chorus...I just realized that what he did was actually even _more_ impressive. Not discounting what you all did, but I just reminded myself why I'm glad that LK is one of the first internet creators I ever got into.

well, the fast travel mechanics in most games dont defy logic. for the player it looks instantly, but inside the game, time passes while fast travelling. fast travel doesnt equal teleportation. its just a convenient mechanic to not bore gamers to death. without fast travel, you could call every rpg a walking simulator...
@crazydud33802 жыл бұрын
Thinking of Resident Evil with the inventory. For games that have it, the item box is bizarre, whatever you drop into a specific item box becomes available at ANY item box! These boxes are interlinked transporters! Yeah, Last of Us aims to be more realistic, and actually removes Listen Mode at the highest difficulties, and makes the number of hits you can take sem-realistic. It does do the disregarding clips without losing anything, though, and wrapping your hand to heal any wound anywhere. The inventory is fairly realistic, though. Your craftables and ammo carry are limited, and you actually have the packpack on you most of the time. The workbench animations in the sequel are also a nice touch.
