Only ten? Let's be honest, some of Marvel's characters are interesting because they're jerks. Being a jerk isn't something Stark does once in a while, it's why we want to read his stories. The same goes for Logan/Wolverine, Jessica Jones, etc. They aren't interesting in spite of being jerks, they are interesting because they are jerks. I would argue that Northstar belongs in this category, but I haven't read comic books in a long time and they may have changed him. I hope Marvel kept him a jerk.

Hmmm, No they didn't.

Jessica Jones isn’t actually that big a jerk in the comics, at least compared to the (fantastic) Netflix version. In Brian Michael Bendis’ New Avengers series and Allan Heinberg’s Young Avengers, she frequently acts as Luke Cage’s conscience, and a commentary on how a superhero career conflicts with the desire to have a normal family life.

Ok that slaughter a new race of A.I. need some context, Tony was fighting a Vision/Wonder Man fusion, he thought the only way to stop it without killing Vision and Wonder Man was to set off an EMP to shut it down temporarily so that Stark tech could find a way to separate them. He didn't want to do it because that would have meant killing off the A.I. version of himself in the suit but A.I. Tony knew the consequences and told him to do it. He hated the fact that the A.I. civilians were caught in the crossfire. So I don't think that deserves to be here.

I would argue that no hero was as negatively affected by Civil War more than Spider-Man. He gave up his identity for Tony, just have his family become targeted (the exact reason he had a secret identity in the first place) and for him to eventually have to live his life as, legally speaking, a criminal. With the only way to undo all this damage being to have the better half of his life taken away from him and he not even remember it happening. Iron Man and Cap can suck it.

Where's the time when he dated the Wasp after she just went through her divorce? Where's the time he used Spider-Man as a poster boy for the resignation and endangered his wife, aunt, friends, and got him fried from his job as a teacher (which he loved)? Also, Being an alcoholic isn't a disease. It's a choice. I wanted the times where he was genuinely being an assfaced jerk. Being an evil A.I., reusing what Jim Hammond did to his evil "grandchildren", becoming momentarily evil because of some forgettable event, and remembering the terrible writing of the 90s aren't what showed him as a very flawed man. Nice attempt though.
