Nope, he left rehab of his own volition on a recommendation, not a doctors actual order. It's why he can't file a wrongful termination suit. WWE had put him into rehab, and he made the decision to return to the roster because he said he was okay - meaning he was fair game

I don’t believe it because not many people have good stories about him. Even if it was coping, it’s supremely inappropriate. This isn’t a cop coming across a high stress environment, this is a dude firing someone over the phone with years of experience and is a former wrestler himself. He’s not a newbie getting nervous.

I had the pleasure of working with Roddy Piper & Jerry Lawler at The 1994 WWF King Of The Ring P.P.V. I was the Piper Impersonator. After my brief stint in WWE, I went on to manage "The Highlanders" in the indy's before they signed with WWF & became The Scottish Bushwackers which I hated cause they were so much better as heels. I had no idea they would both be featured in this video.

Once Johnny Ace took over... all went downhill. I believe all the stuff from the lawsuit with Johnny, hes a human piece of garbage and him being with WWE so long is what put it down the drain. He was a million times worse than Vince himself. Once Vince got much older and was giving Johnny alot more power, that's when it really got out of control, like with SashaBanks/Naomi.... Vince was gonna let them make the changes they wanted, and Johnny Ace essentially said no until Vince gave in, and Vince clearly was focused on things besides doing his job well at that point....

That Vince Russo part is weird because in a way I see where he's coming from. If you can't speak English in a predominantly English speaking crowd, it limits how much they can work a crowd. Problem is that assumes the foreign wrestlers have zero English speaking skills, which I doubt Russo knew. Even then, quality wrestling was one aspect WCW could challenge WWF on, so just keep them around and maintain the slice of audience that is left
