10 Tips For Casual Battlegrounds Players To Make Gains in Seasons | Marvel Contest of Champions

In This Video: We Look at the Top Tips for Casual Battleground Players.
I do about 30 minutes every 2 days.
Battlegrounds, can be grindy and repetitive, can be lucky if you draft what you need can be unlucky if you don’t draft what you want
1 . 48 Hour Objective focus on doing this as a priority even if you win 1 and lose 5 you still get trophy tokens.
2 . When to Play - Waiting 2 Weeks before you excessively grind, I do casual then ramp up towards the end.
3 . Deck Creation - Mix it up , your strongest 6 stars might not be the way to go, you need offense and defence, and defo knowing rotations of double champs like Bishop, Apoc, Peni parker which have defence and strong offense is good.
4 . Deck Revamp and Plan Rank Ups - Always look at what frustrates you and plan Rank Ups for the future. Now that does take away from the fun of choosing champs you want but if you want to start a list of champs to help you out it can help you down the line.
5 . Trophy Tokens these are amazing and can really help to structure future Roster Development, save them for aslong as you can and plan what you might want to buy.
6 . Victory Shields - buy with trophy tokens when you are close to the end and want to protect your advance to next tier. So if you need 3 wins, apply on the Second.
7 . Elder Marks - use these at your own risk but these will help to get to milestones in solo and alliance events. You may want to test the waters with using energy first or you might want to go to lower areas like Act 3.2.6 or 5.3.6 to grind more. More effort in the alliance event the more elder marks you get.
8 . Mastery setup - Iffy setup as you see fit, you could have a roster of double of immunity and have a strong ouchie masteries
9 . Time investment - One easy mistake is to sink too much time into a game mode you might not get a huge amount out of at the end of the month. Set a length of time per day or every 2 days that is representative of the time you have. For me its 30 mins on average per day,
10 . Ya win some you lose some - honestly if you think you will win every match you may do or you may not, you might have issues you, you might make a mistake, you might piss it. Don’t hold unrealistic expectations for yourself.

Great stuff Rich. I didn’t play last season due to the fact milestones were unachievable unless you spent units on elders marks. As Kabam redid the structure this season I gave it a better effort and am Gamma 2 in glad circuit at the moment. I still learnt some valuable things from your video that I wasn’t either aware of or had taken for granted. So I appreciate that. No. Lmao its based on average character rating lmao. Unless you are spending money on units for energy refills most people use lower rank champions anyways. Some people only use 2 stars or three stars and reach high levels lmao

I am a f2p lv49 cav in plat 2 rn. This mode tests your game knowledge. Knowing the right match ups is the key to winning. All that with a bit of luck and i have beaten 3 paragons this season!

Season 1, They didnt get enough players into Gladiator circuit to make a proper leaderboard. Season 2 nearly over, still don't have enough people to fill up every rank in the leaderboard. is that less than 5000 people? Its way to grindy to get there. If this keeps up, Kabam have to change something

Yup, they should unlock rank rewards when you reach gold or platinum or something like that. That also makes it so you can work towards both level AND rank rewards at the same time, making it more rewarding
