10 Tips for Finding and Keeping Crafty Motivation!

After the last How Long Does it Take to Make? video, you guys were asking me for tips on motivation. So I've gone ahead and compiled 10 different tips and tricks to help you find and keep motivation throughout your crafting!

I have SOOOO many WIPs it's not even funny hence the reason my craft room looks like an episode of Extreme Hoarders 😅 My Personal Tip: Sometimes I make myself go through (and inventory) my craft room - I tell myself I'm cleaning but really I'm just refreshing my brain to all the things I have and remind myself of the project/craft I wanted to make when I first purchased said materials. I write a list of the craft/supplies and the project it was intended for so on days where I don't know what to do I'll just look through my craft supplies list for inspiration.

Further to number 10, sometimes it's okay to trash or donate an unfinished project. If it's weighing on you, making you feel guilty about not working on it, materials used, time spent, or you just decide that you hate this project, full permission to get rid of it. It doesn't deserve to suck the positive feelings from your life. Let it go! Chalk it up to lesson learned and move on. Don't let it become a roadblock for your creative mojo.

Thank you for all the great tips! I know that several of these have worked for me in the past. Also, just curious, what crochet KZbin channels do you watch? I do a lot of crochet and would like to get more inspiration, which I also find KZbin helpful for. Thanks!

Crochet doesn’t make up a tonne of my watching but I enjoy More Kopy Kali and both her sisters : mr bobvin and crochet with Kaye. I also like it’s Erin b!
