I have definitely found the Stand Ground to get Poise, can make any stand still build fairly effective.

My second win, after a blood summoner, was a pure melee unarmored barbarian type character. Was surprisingly deadly from the start but eventually i started running into tougher monsters so i invested a bit into fire for additional healing. Felt unkillable near the end

I feel like summoner and on step builds are probably just stronger than melee ones right now, but there are still some completely cracked melee builds you can do. Just got a win with Yu earlier. Took me a while to figure out how to break it, but it ended up being one of the most broken builds I've ever done. Went directly into crystal form and built around on prayer skills like oozemancy and the chants. I was clearing maps in one turn a lot of the time, it got really out of hand. I absolutely love this game. It's like a broken build sandbox and it's fantastic.

Humbaba Templar with the on attack / on hit focused blood magic like bloodbath, gore cleave and roil is one of the most OP builds I've come up with so far. You can just play it pure or mix in whatever else you want. Very difficult to lose as long as you have the core skills. Blood magic feels a little unbalanced to me, tbh. Another fun one is the grass god with the warrior class and the brud culture that heals you for every stack of debuff on the target. You just get the stand ground from martial and some way to apply debuffs and hold down the spacebar. The healing you get while standing on your grass is doubled, and you can keep buying ranks in stand ground to attack and heal yourself several times per action. I got a win with it earlier today by going into deathknight for the big doom stacks and also the poison chant that gives everything plague. It would probably work better with blood lol. Blood os really good....

You aren't allowed to do Achra tips videos when you're only 4 cycles in

@@Ic0nGaming lol sorry, that was maybe a bit harsh. I just think it's a funny pattern how many youtubers seem to be racing to put out guides for this game despite not having all that much experience in it... I'd much rather watch a beginning player struggle through trial and error and learn that way, or see them showcase a particular cool build they found, rather than try to come off as an expert of the whole game just to put *TIPS* and *GUIDE* in the title and farm those views... nawmsayin? You do have some good points of advice but a lot of your vid was pretty generic like 'take the skills that synergize with your build, take the weapon that synergizes...' 'inflame increases your damage,' etc., and some stuff you said about how 'hits' work and not being able to take dodge+block+armor all together are just plain wrong. I think if you were to make this video after putting another 50 or 100 hours in the game, you'd have a lot more accurate and specific info to cover.
@Ic0nGaming5 ай бұрын
@@ubertuna1 Well that is easily explained. Channels like mine have to review 3-10 games a month and create material for it. My work day has 8-12 hours and I cannot spend that time with gaming alone. On Achra I got 30 hours accumulated and that's just as much as I can invest to make info material. Content Creators have just not the same amount of time at hand to make their stuff as regular gamers do. And to add insult to injury: Usually you earn almost nothing for covering these games, cause they are niche as hell. So the total pool of audience is way smaller. I put out these guides as soon as I have the understanding of things to explain it well. Stuff you are asking for I usually do after playing the game a ton and those are then "advanced Tips & Tricks". So there you have it - that's how you have content creators always putting out content before it's good time for that. We all gotta eat and pay our bills I'm very sorry. And gameplays witrh exploration are cool and all, but attract about 80% less viewers than tutorials and tips videos.
