WHAT REALLY AMAZES ME ABOUT YOUR WORK , BESIDES BEING REALLY GOOD IS THE FACT THAT YOU USE A WALNUT HOLLOW BURNER AND JUST THE POINTED SHADING TIP. THAT IS TALENT.

I love your videos and how you called out the “ugly duckling phase” 😂 so true. Thanks for all the tips!

So excited to see such great work with a craft store burner. Most of us crafters start out with those and it's nice to see what's possible. The work is still created by you, the artist, but you are showing us what is possible! Thank you!

Loved watching the video! I've been woodburning for bout half a year now and really enjoying it but im looking to improve my animal and realism skills. You really captured this lions majesty in your piece and I admire your use of pencils for colour afterwards... I wouldn't have thought of that 😅♥️

How many times have I been given a bad blurry photo to try and burn a portrait with. It is very hard to get details when you can't see the details. I end up doing a light and shadow technique to get a decent look. Amazing piece here. I agree doing the stencil prep on paper then transferring it to wood works much better than drawing on the wood. I really love how you used color pencil and paint to add to the piece.

Your amazing. I've tried to do a few projects and I feel like the tips get stuck a lot. Could that be my surface is not smooth enough or I'm pushing to hard. And advice would be great.

I'm still figuring it out but recently I've noticed it's good to keep a wet sponge or rag and clean the tip off a lot. it keeps carbon off the tip and cools it down so it's easier to shade. and quality of wood matters a lot. like hardwoods are better. soft woods have ridges. that's two that came to mind
