Dexterity does not give you evasion, but evasion is the armor stat for dex classes and same with energy shield and int. You can and should have some mix regardless of your class and none of the 3 stats give you any defensive stats, strength gives you life, dex gives you accuracy, and int gives mana. the defensive stats come from armor bases which have attribute requirements that match their defensive stat, so an int helmet is energy shield and dex boots are evasion. You're wording made it sound like the actual attributes give you the stats. Also lightning damage can both pin but it also inflicts a debuff that increases damage received. The skill gems only level up if you use a higher uncut skillgem to upgrade them, its not passive, again unclear language.

How do you make 5000h knowing it was released on 6th of december. 5000h is more than 200 days...

I said 5000-10000 in Path of Exile 1 - NOT 2 I am only circa 70-80 hours in 2 since release.

Does anyone know why the “DPS” in the skills tab is seemingly broken? I add a support gem “add 25% of damage as extra cold damage” to my spell and it LOWERS the displayed DPS? Or having a level 5 spark on my weapon that’s slightly weaker DPS than my level 4 skill gem version even though it has lower listed damage…?

Check if you have particular weapon set selected. And also check your other support gems they may be affecting the gem differently when you add this support gem. Some DPS is based on the project which can be affected differently.
