Again, golden tips! Thanks so much, been hitting the wall these days, tried racing/practicing almost every hour for 3 days to close 1.5s which is the best time for the track and car combination. Was a bit stressed and pressured, walked away last night (I'm super happy that you recommended it), feel very relaxed today, your videos gave me new energy to attack again in a few days. Thanks sir!

@@SmokingSteelGarage Sir, thanks to you, I nailed more than a second easily, 1.3s to be precise, I know there are more fractions on the cards, just need to get together all the apexes. Also now I can do many laps without getting tired, thanks to you. Now after just about 10 -15 minutes practicing on a new circuit I'm only off about 1.5s - 2s from the best lap time. Also the car is more stable as now I'm more concerned about the weight distribution. I'm enjoying I racing again! :D

Other than Monza Jr. what are some of the other tracks do you recommend practicing on? Maybe you can make a video on that.

Anything small and technical. My favorites are Brand Hatch Indy, Donington Park National, and Silverstone National. Its best to use something sub 1 minute, so you can quickly repeat the laps and doesn't take long to get back to a corner if you are particularly struggling at that part of the track.

One question: every time I watch car setup tutorial videos, they always say this cliche, "it depends on your driving style", but what even is/are these driving styles? Are we talking like 2 kinds of driving styles, or 100? How am I supposed to tell apart what's "my driving style" from just "driving badly". Nice video btw.

Its a very general term. to simplify it massively you could class it as either you like a car that setup to oversteer or understeer, a more aggressive driving style is often better suited to a oversteer setup to get the car rotating throughout the corner. a smoother style prefers a tiny bit of understeer for more precise and smoother un dramatic lapping. Understeer in generally a safer option hence why road cars are mostly designed with this in mind. its far easy to control although not necessarily the fastest. Oversteer requires more ability to tame, however the car is knife edgy and harder to lap more consistently. The 3rd option is a well rounded driver who can switch between both and this requires a well balanced car that can be coerced into either understeer or oversteer depending on the corner and conditions. This is seen as being the ultimate and why you will always hear the top drivers and teams say they are struggling to find balance in the car.
