I am impressed that instead of asking right out of the gate to like and subscribe you allowed viewers to watch first so they could make an informed decision as to why or if they should respond to your Call to Action. This was the first of thousands of videos I have watched to ever do this. Kudos

This is great. You must be reading my mind! I just created a mailchimp site last night as a landing page to help start a mailing list. To entice readers to proved an email and first name I give them a free book. I also put in a pop-up for yet to be created newsletter. I was thinking monthly, maybe "what I learned this month about Self-Publishing". Thanks, Julie. I'll be checking out your 7-steps to see your launch letters.

Something that one also need to add at the bottom of their e-mail is the option to change your e-mail address. After we relocated and unfortunately had to find a new internet provider & our e-mail addresses changed too. There were many subscriptions where I could not change the old address for the new one or even an unsubscribe button. It was just for practicality reasons and not because I wasn't interested anymore, but just wasn't practical to get mail at an address where I could not log in.

I wish this was an easier option with the email systems out there right now. I agree that it should be easier than it is but I don't think our system even makes that easy to do.
