Proud Nitpicking Nerds Commander Cube Player - Built it in December and updated it alongside your updates. We played 7 last week for the first time. (Generally we play 4 or 5) The decks really came alive with 7. Tokens and Dragons are usually strong. This week Wilhelt crushed our pod.

Enjoyed drafting this set twice: First draft: 1st Pack Heliod and Rishkar: Forced GW tokens … Also drafted 2 Path to Exile, 2 Generous Gift, 2 board wipes (Kirtar’s Wrath, Sublime Exhalation) Ended up coming in 3rd. 2nd Draft: Ended up RB Rorix (6/5 Flying Haste)/ Whisper: 5 board wipes (2 Extinguish all Hope, 2 Sulfurous Blast, 1 Slice and Dice) Ended up 3rd in an epic finish (used Makeshift Munitions to ping Odric equipped with Fiendlash and Ancestral Blade) to have it’s controller kill our other opponent before I died to the 1st trigger.

Went to my first draft ever - this CMM one in our city, tied 4th , i believe a 3way? had a bunch of ties for 1st/2nd because 60 minutes per round was too little. I had red/green size matters with goreclaw and kazuul, worked really well with campfire to get them back over and over!! had a blast, edit : 28 lands in the dack since everything is pretty much cmc4+ , all the uncommon boardwipes were trouble btw, monarch added some fun shenanigans

Kind of disappointed to see any coverage of this set that isn't focusing on how ridiculously overpriced it is. I get it, content creators have bills to pay, but it would be nice to see a united front pushing back against WotC on this insane pricing for some ink and cardboard. Not to mention the fact it isn't even a "premium" set.

I drafted this a ton at Magicon. Based on what I saw, always take Mealstrom wanderer if you dont get a dope mythic, then get tons of ramp, fatties, and removal and done. You will do well 😅
