Hi, glad you liked the recipe. You don't specifically need a baking tin. But you will need any tray aluminium or non stick that is slightly deep so pav holds shape. Also, you can use any aluminium dhokla thali or mould. thank you

Thanks for the video and detailed explanation. There are lots of videos on ladi pav on KZbin, but I liked yours the most because of the lucid explanation, the tips, and possible pitfalls. I tried baking this twice before seeing your video (using Hebbar’s Kitchen and CookingShooking for reference), but the first time the pavs came out a bit dense while the second time they didn’t rise much. Will now try this recipe. Can we use whole wheat instead of maida? How will the proportions change for the ingredients? In your video the maida is yellowish in colour and you mentioned atta a few times so wasn’t sure if it was maida or atta (whole wheat flour). One suggestion is to make the videos as short as possible using text if needed. Good job!

Hi, Thank you so much for appreciating the video. I have used Maida in the recipe. If you are using wheat flour, quantity of water added will increase. But i recommend, for the first few times when you are making pav, start with wheat + maida in equal proportions. Later when you get hold of this, then you can switch to wheat flour.

I face prob of pav not becoming golden brown in 20 mins.. ihave proper tin, I preheat it, all is perfect, but while baking it doesn’t become golden brown on top, pls tell me the otg settings u used. do we use only bake setting in oven ? Or two rods with fan on ? My otg has bake with only lower rod, with two rods on the fan is also on ? Does Fan makes it dry ? I made yesterday, with all your tips and recipe... Brush generously with milk before baking, check after 10-12 mins of baking. If still you observe that they have not turned brown from top, brush with oil and then again bake for 2-3 mins more. Bake on middle rack with both rods on

Hi mam, I tried your recipe in cooker , 6 inch pan . 15 mins with medium heat I preheated the cooker and baked the pav for 20 mins. But bottom of the pav has been dark in color and top of the pav is perfect. What will be the reason that bottom part of pav is hard and dark brown

Why Bottom part of pav is hard ?

Maybe they are overbaked. Try to bake for 3 to 4 mins less

Hi today I made pav it's perfect in look but it's heavy in weight and bottom part is very soft it's goes in side when v press it I think it's kachcha why ? Even I baked it on 180° for 20 min then to its feel like kachcha again I kept it for 10 mins same as b4 again for 8 mins but it same feel like kachcha in bottom side nobody had it 😟 pls suggest y it's happened. What should I do for it?

Hi, you need to bake at 200 degrees, and after baking transfer to a wire rack so bottom will not be sticky, this happens if you left pav in baking tray for more than 10 mins

Mam , i have seen many recipes they use similar measurements but some say bake at 180 some 200 why so i can't understand i baked at 200 they become hard and at 180 the top isn't Brown im confused

Baking time and temperature varies for every oven, so need to bake a few times to get an idea about ur oven

Its pure maida, maybe coz of lighting you feel that color is diff

Mine is wirlpool convection micro oven. So in which mode I have to bake ladi pav. Every time I'm using convection mode but always it become hard and niche se jal jathe hai. What have to pls suggest

You have to bake in convection mode. You have baked previously for how many minutes and what temperature ?

In 10mins only burnt from bottom. Not only pav cake also. And one more top of the pav become hard and not cooked properly.

@@sahanabhat5372 Try baking at a lower temperature. If you are baking at 200 degrees, you can bake at 180 degrees.
