Also, one thing I recommend besides your tips is to go into training mode with a character you are having trouble with, put them on CPU level 4-5, and fight them infinitely while also practicing your hit confirms. I know that the CPU is not like a human player, but it's a very good start at getting better and simulating a real battle without interruptions.

Anyone playing on stick or hitbox, I've switched DR and DI. I find it easier for combos, and if you need to mash DI if you hit both buttons, DI gets priority, so i find it definitely helps.

I want to comment about your statement about using a drive impact button and losing the triple kicks or punches, there's a feature you should take a look at, watch a video by Broski that says "The obscure SF6 feature that could make pad powerful" which explains in detail something for pad players. Another one is know your most damaging combo into CA off of drive impact. As an example I’ve gotten down deejays drive impact into CA combo for 5200 damage. This can and will win you games as people are always focusing on DI and making them pay for it is crucial.

According to Sajam, not all characters have frametrap chain LP. Marisa for example doesn't. DR Lights also is a lot of bar for a lots of scaling so probably not something to use frequently. Perfect parry combos should be kept short unless you're going to kill, the scaling INSTANTLY starts at 50%. Decent video

Marisa got chain lights, but you gotta go cr.LK > cr.LP which isn't as effective since cr.LK is a 5 framers.

For pad users put DI to L1 and assist to L2 the use L2 and a punch or kick for an EX move it takes a bit to get used to but it's great

Can you please give me advice on drive impact. I play on PlayStation 5 pad and I use L1 as you mentioned in the video and I press it when they attempt to use it on me and it’s not consistent on activating when I’m pressuring with light jabs I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s me but L1 is hard. Not sure what button I can map it to

Just wanna say capcom is the goat they made training the complete experience it has everything a labber dreams of! The amount of features that mode has is supposed to be a paid DLC in some games but capcom included it in the day 1 release.

0:36 I came from SFV as my unique fighting game ever and I understood all its mechanics: everything But now I can not understand that Mura. How someone "cancel" two light attacks??? In SFV you can cancel moves into some special moves, righ? But never 2 light normal attacks. I hope to find the answer... BTW I do not have the game yet but I am intrigued. Something else... I loved the single hit confirm mechanic in SFV, but there is not in SF6? That would be sad

You can do the same exact thing in SFV as well. For example, Cammy's cr.LP is 0 on block in SFV. But if you chain/cancel cr.LP to st.LP (4 frame normal) it will still beat the opponent's mashed 3 frame.

Are you talking about Drive Reversal? Mura mentioned it uses two bars. To perform, you have to be in block stun, and you press forward + Drive Impact.

I don't know if it's because I use honda but sf6 sucks. Modern is easier and no finger fatigue just press buttons. If you di any of my fierce attacks I can't do anything. Are all fierce attacks vulnerable to di like that? If you are a loner and don't use a community to get better you have a long road ahead. I have to learn new mechanics, learn block strings, it's just a lot. Throw loops and the corner is brutal. If you're brand new and never played sf I would say play another fighter this game is for the people who've been around the last 10 years. Oh yeah and option select is trash game mechanics to learn on top of all that.
