tyty. i plan on making a video on all the 'difficult' parts of deejay's execution/combos. they're not too hard but a few tips go a long way.

Impressive video, Justin Gordon. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I hit the thumbs up icon on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights into DJ's setups and the emphasis on the sway mechanics really highlight the depth of the character. How do you see the current meta affecting the effectiveness of these setups in high-level play?

thanks so much! at the highest level i play (some people in my local scene are 1800-1900mr) people still have trouble with it and have tried to develop specific responses to beat the sway setups (i fully explained the setups to them because i wanted to limit test it). it still works against them even though they exactly what i'm doing, and there's no single high-percentage answer. in order to beat it, you have to make a big risky decision while Deejay gets to sit back and safely react. if the opponent DI's (to beat the sway), it'll just counterhit and Deejay gets knocked away...and so it's weighted in Deejay's favor because baiting the DI rewards Deejay more than the opponent (who just knocks you away if the DI hits). if they delay their button, then Deejay can just empty-sway and whiff punish after recovery. of course you shouldn't ONLY use the sway setups for offense, but they're both deceptive and confusingly high-percentage.

Had no interest in playing Deejay, but this guide is so full of good tech and good tips to create a quick gameplan that i immediately felt the urge to lab this and go online, keep it up man.
