Great guide! And if anyone is looking for an early game weapon, I recommend the Stagbreaker (kind of a warhammer). You unlock the recipe for it by getting core wood, which you can collect by cutting down pine trees in the Black Forest.

The biggest help for me has been building cabins around the map. Just big enough big enough for a workbench, fire and bed. It lets you repair equipment, cook extra food and sleep the night away with having to return home. A chest lets you store extra weapons in case you die away from home. You will have less distance to travel to retrieve your gear (If you made the cabin your respawn point).

Absolutely, I don't mind taking my time setting up proper bases and defense's in useful areas. Like for bone mass and iron harvesting in the swamp I find a flat enough surface building simple base, worktable, fire, bed, portal and a couple chests then expand out from there flattening the ground and placing mini forts and fences at key points like enemy spawns and sunken crypts. Doesn't use much resources mainly just wood but has saved my life many times when the situation turned bad

The tooltip in the bottom left corner that shows up when you are holding a tool will also display when you have no tools equiped if any enemy or mob is aware of you. can be used very well in some places to see if you have to be on your gaurd or not, can prevent alot of ambushes

If you put food items in your hotbar you can hit all the buttons at the same time and you will eat it all at once, one animation vs 3

If you haven't beat bone mass yet, and you hear buzzing, run like your life depends on it and roll whenever the deathquito makes it attack but not before because it will just hit you after your role is over

Moder seems weak to ice arrows. I pelted her with em and she just stayed grounded and didnt attack me until I ran out of arrows. Literally the easiest boss I fought because of it
