I had an old trucker help me and my boyfriend who got stranded in snow storm in the mountains. We had made it rest stop but had no money and we’re almost out of gas. The guy drove us to a restaurant, gave us money to eat then came back in an hour with a big can of gas. He drove us back to the car, filled it up , jump started it then had us follow him off the worse section of the road. He gave us a bit more money and wished us luck. I still think of him sometimes. He was our guardian angel for sure 💕💕💕

RE that last story, I moved to Humboldt County right after that happened (though I didn't know it at the time), and right around the time a torso was found in the bay. That area is a hive of horror masked by beautiful redwood trees.

Doesn't he technically do five days a week? Actually, it's more like six. Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday he live streams (which can end up being several hours long) the stories that he then edits down to upload on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then he does the huge monthly compilations... I don't understand how he keeps up the schedule that he does, honestly. I mean, I'm glad he does- I listen to the live streams, but I prefer the edited (because I don't chat during lives- I just listen while I sleep) I just don't understand how he keeps up without burning out, like so many do. I get used to people uploading- then they slow down or stop- Joel just keeps going. He's the most dependable KZbin creator that I watch. He hasn't let me down yet lol

I was standing in my back yard one beautiful afternoon, and all of a sudden I was inundated by a swarm of dragonflies. There must have been quite honestly 1000 or more. They were apparently paying attention to each other and nothing else. About 2 minutes later they dissipated as quickly as they appeared. It was incredible and I feel fortunate to have witnessed it.

Story 4 I relate to 200% I have literally fallen asleep while driving and it doesn’t matter what you do if you’re tired you’re tired I work an hour away so every night it’s 2 hours of driving plus I don’t hit the road home until after 3am and my job is definitely very physical so you can imagine but it’s scary when you can’t force yourself awake no matter what you do but your videos help me focus and stay awake do thank you so much ❤️ keep up the good work I personally love your cryptic stories !!!

I am a vegan and an animal rights activist and I absolutely would never just release captive animals. It is dangerous for the animals and the humans and for creatures that have probably been in captivity their whole life won't know how to survive. Just pure stupidity of people like that drive me crazy.

The first story… I have lived in South Dakota for 3 years for grad school and I am right now moving home and listening to this in the back seat as my bf and I drive across country back to California. He wasn’t kidding about how desolate and awful driving through South Dakota is lol most of highway 80 for that matter.
