Great recommendations!! And a few more additions to my TBR. Also, I wanted to say that I bought your book recently as I am doing a mythology block with my children ( we home educate).... it looks amazing!! My son (9) spent yesterday afternoon on the sofa reading it and he is now very inspired by Greek mythology, which is so exciting as I remember LOVING Greek mythology at school. When I have read it properly I will definitely be rating it on goodreads.....so you will have one more review!! Thank you Jean!!

David Owen was so nice when he colour matched the signature to my copy of Fallen Children I must add a goodreads review for it. I’ve just finished Lady’s guide to celestial mechanics by Olivia Waite which I really enjoyed as a historic f/f romance from the feminine pursuits series. Book 2 is on my next week reads list.

I love this video! Thank you for all the suggestions. Can I recommend Spinning Silver by Naiomi Novik! This was one of my fav books from 2020 and never see it on booktube x

Two historical fiction FF romance I enjoyed were The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave and The Animals at Lockwood Manor by Jane Healey (which has some magical realism in it). They aren't romance novels but have romance elements. And I'm not big on romance novels that aren't also set in a larger plot, but I adored the relationship elements of all three of Natasha Pulley's novels. Also in The Binding, which I just finished. These latter are all MM romances, and Pulley's books are alternative reality but with fascinating historical history information in them. Also, the Naomi Kritzer book sounded really familiar but I couldn't find it at the library or in my Goodreads Want to Read list... and then I had a wild idea - maybe I actually OWNED the book. Sure enough, tucked in a corner of some double shelved fantasies, I have both books in the duology! LOL - I shall bring them out and put them in a more visible book stack. :)

Speaking of FF Historical Fiction... I read Wildthorn by Jane Eagland when I was in college a good few years ago. I don't remember too much about it, but I know I enjoyed it and kept the book thinking I might reread it again. So that has to be a good sign! I have a feeling it won't be for everyone, so maybe have a look at it on Goodreads and see if it sounds interesting to you. 😊

Princess Floralinda and the Forty-Flight Tower by Tamsyn Muir [author of Gideon the Ninth] which is a short story, dark retelling of rapunzell . It has only about 800 ratings and ... i don't know i loved it and strongly recomend it
