#Punk #PunkRock #TheErgs!
Perhaps the greatest struggle of every punk rock fan is the dichotomy between loving your favorite band so much that you want them to become the biggest band in the world while also taking pride in the fact that their obscurity keeps you from having to share the music with the masses. However, some punk outfits are so inherently special that you just can’t help but believe that every living soul on planet Earth needs to hear them. We compiled a list of bands that should have fully transitioned from house shows to household names, but never quite made it there. But you can take comfort in the fact that you’ll never have to hear any of these outstanding acts being reduced to being background noise in the dining room of the local Burger King.
Check out the Spotify Playlist featuring songs from all of the artists on this list!

If Tsunami Bomb who formed in the 90’s are included then I am going to add The Muffs. I have Keep Your Heart in my car within easy reach. It’s a classic. Dave is so good and I like his solo stuff though a little more acoustic and introspective at times.

10. I think the "Two dead police. 1 for hope and 1 for peace..." "3 dead police, 1 for thanks and 2 for please. In every single town every officer is down, all dead police." lines may have ruined any hope for SFH to ever be big lol And I think that's how they wanted it. 9. Si. I was never super big on em. But solid still. 8. Tsunami Bomb was dope. It was how I introduced a lotta people to punk cause jumping straight into Consume, Leper or His Hero Is Gone can be a bit much lol And I know a lotta girls who were really positively effected by their music. They'll always have my respect. 7. GB is just too real, too raw and too weird. Most people don't know what to make of em and aren't used to the influences they utilize. Amazing band but also never stood a chance for their pro-migrant, pro-solidarity lyrics that happened to really pop in the post-9/11 world. 1,000% punk music though. 6. I can't even remember em. 5. Same. 4. Swellers had pop potential but I never really dug em. 3. Can't remember em either lol 2. BTMI on the other hand were another story 💪 1. Had a lot of friends that dug em but I never really have em a chance to be honest.
