I got six minutes in... and I have some VERY bad news. No one on earth has temporal privacy rights. I only bring this up, because if you want to talk about probability, as in the probability of human imagination and dreams being transcoded into material reality... well, time tech is a certainty. The most likely use of that technology will be to retroactively remove that thing you presently quantify as "death". Depending on how badly you "aim" the future... well, that can go from terrible to even more terrible to unspeakably terrible in like... no effort flat. Literally. Like that "instant gratification" concept you've been high on... that's um... that's lethal to your sentience. Yeah, little PROTIP, that thing requires PAIN in order to function. You know obstacles to overcome, pain to avoid, stuff like that. If you remove it all with self-satiation on demand, well that sorta impairs your cognition in a way that makes it "fall asleep". That would be depression! Or over satiation. If you double down with addictive impulses that depression will lead to dysphoria, which is DELUSION DRIVEN PAIN SEEKING BEHAVIORS! They are designed to try and "wake up" your sentience. They cause you to attack any and all normie sources of satiation like society, entertainment, family, marriage, children, pregnancy, pets... in the worst case scenarios they'll be insatiably driven to gouging out their own pleasure centers! Psychopathically so! Meaning, they're able to invent all sorts of "good intentions" to try and delude everyone into accepting it. Solution is pretty simple tho... just use safe forms of pain seeking. Like lift weights, exercise, fast for a few hours while super hungry, go camping, do chores... whatever. Avoid over satiation and avoid bad forms of pain seeking like anorexia, cutting, abortion, etc. Oh... speaking of abortion. The future has a question for you all. Did you want them back? The babies. The ones you all aborted. Do you want them back? After you think you die. Do you want them back?

I hate to break it to you, but your entire video does not apply to me ;) 1. Is just plain wrong. I am perfectly aware of my own evil nature. unlike all of you. 2. I know that people are not brave enough to understand me. I learned that early on in life. 3. I fully know myself. I am a genius. i am exploring myself all my life. i am a frontier psychologist. 4. I knew that for a very long time. reality is but an illusion filted by my conciousnes. 5. I knew that life is chance since early childhood. There never was free will. 6. I understand that i have to make my own happy ending even if it's patchwork and not glorious at all. 7. I am replaceable. it doesn't matter. none of us matter. Time is a flat circle. or least history is. 8. I will be forgotten. and that is for the best. 9. There are no happy endings. the world is unjust. that's the nature of freedom. 10. I am a soulless biological automaton You failed to list 11) The world is horrible because people become horrible by being exposed to society. It's an eternal vicious cycle that can't even be broken by schooling cause toddlers are already exposed to the corrupted nature of their parents. Society is merely the expression of the will of the masses multiplied by resources and willpower. Society will never truly change. Most of the things we see are human nature, not social constructs. I had no luck in life. I am statistically speaking one of the least privileged people on the planet. but I had to - to become as genius as i am - Check out Nietzsche to understand. Find peace. And enjoy every moment.Never be ashamed. And follow your heart...

And what if immoral things give you the most happiness? Or braindead needless consumption? You can’t just say that it’s “over the line” because “the line” is subjective so it can’t really be defined. You could say it would shorten your life, but first - what if not? Is it okay then? And second - even if you do get caught and killed or imprisoned, maybe it was worth it, so let’s do it anyway? Of course I get what you mean but it’s easy to break bad with such a mindset.

Absolutely - this is a phenomenal sentiment - especially in the sense we all must try and be kind to ourselves but realize that we shouldn't be afraid to ask for help and to know we are all a collective species wanting to be recognized and worthy of something - assuming what I'm describing is accurate - because I believe reality is what we choose it to be - even if certain things aren't always in our control. But that being said, I realize I'm not perfect lol and neither is anyone else. But also; I believe we all exist for a specific reason - to ensure our existence will continue for many generations to come - but then... the survival aspect of life will be in their grasp, consciousness, and willingness to ensure the 'survival of the species.'

One of the special elements of Japanese culture is the tradition of creating both environments and occasions for communing with the fragility of life-an element that adds enormously to the recognition of this fragility and makes people more inclined to enjoy the years they have. Admiration for cherry blossoms and autumn foliage are two examples in Japanese culture. They also have a phrase for it: mono no aware (ah-wah-ray) - a Buddhist concept that includes being very conscious of the ephemeral nature of man, his struggle in the face of great odds, and the inevitability of his downfall and complete disappearance.

This ‘cultural element’ is further backed up by Japan’s completely unnecessary quality standards for their technology and entertainment. I recently bought a Nintendo GameCube to relive some of my childhood. I never reference the games published by Nintendo as ‘entertainment,’ I always refer to them as art. I guess entertainment branches off ‘art,’ but what is art really? I digress. Common amongst all Japanese art, the games, the technology, the innovation, the storytelling, is a sense of comfort and wholesomeness. I think that ultimately bounces off your comments: ‘recognition of this fragility,’ for life.

My insignificance in the universe is a comfort to me. It helps me accept and understand that I don't, and will never, know everything. Which means judging others and rejecting them for their beliefs or opinions fells not only stupid but wasteful too. This, hopefully, helps me understand the value and place of humility while I'm a living entity on this planet. And that's a refreshing antidote to "sip" from when the pressures and anxieties that come with being the protagonist in my own life - as we all are in our own lives - feels overwhelming.

Life is like listening to music. You're not concerned about accomplishing anything, gaining anything, or concerned about when it will come to an end. I'm not sure who needs to hear this right now but, yes life is full of pain and suffering but it is also full of joy, love and excitement, maybe you haven't gotten there yet, maybe you forgot what or how to feel like that, but odds are in your favor that you will. I spent 9 shitty years of my life in deep depression, after I decided I'd had enough (for the 100th time) it took me years to get on a stable and mostly sorrow free existence, no matter how small or unheard you feel in this life you are still a mix of an awesome person and I hope you find the ability to push yourself out of depression because it takes time, sometimes a lot of it, but you can do it if you believe in yourself and make small changes to work on it even if it takes weeks, months or like me years. You can do it. The only person who can change your life is you and that is so hard to do when you don't have someone to support you through that, so if you're strong enough to pull yourself out of that hole alone I salute you, you're amazing.

I worked in a job in healthcare where people, of all ages, would disclose things that no one else knew about them. It was for us a privilege to help them and offer support, but also it used to really strike me that people's partners, families and friends often didn't know some quite major stuff. Teenagers whose parents didn't know, and older people with kids and grandkids, leading these secret lives... So I always take things like celebrity stories with a pinch of salt, we don't really know our closest family, we can't ever know all about a stranger.

“Rebel against the absurdity of it all” - that speaks to me. Never thought of it before as a rebellion, as I’ve always just experienced it as intense energy pressing for expression, which seemed to stem from suffering. I used to release it in a negative direction, but now, I’m learning to use it in healthy ways, such as using it to exercise the body. Once the “dark truths” are accepted and integrated, there’s still an intense energy left behind that now seems to be freed up for other things. I wonder if this should be one of the main points, at least for some of us. Peace is great, but so is freed up energy that can now be used constructively rather than destructively. Peace itself doesn’t contribute to purpose, but freed up energy does.

2:59 I’ve learned, after being on this planet for almost 20 years, and after enduring extreme hardship throughout the last few months through familial tragedies, that peace comes from within. I’ve finally realized that the peace and happiness everyone is in desperate search of is simply the acceptance of one’s circumstances and finding meaning in hardships. Like the video states, there will never be a perfect time when we experience no trouble and complete serenity; that would be boring and would yield trouble in itself. Rather, the happiness comes when we appreciate life for the difficulties we must face in it. I love Life now. I appreciate it. I have found meaning and Truth through my troubles, and I couldn’t ask for anything else. Without my suffering, I would not have found meaning. Had I continued to live comfortably, I would never have been prompted to search for something greater. But I suffered, and so I did. I now see my entire life as a spiritual journey, and I will never stop asking questions and never stop searching for the Truth.

The darkest truth about life is that it's a misfortune to be born into it in the first place. The frustration of unfulfilled desires (the satisfaction of which is only ever ephemeral, the negative state of dissatisfaction ineluctable) is bad, while had you not existed, this lack of satisfaction would not have been a bad thing, since there'd be no you to suffer the deprivation.

I agree and disagree. It is true that life sucks and none of us asked to be here, in fact many of us don’t want to be here because we don’t truly enjoy, and we feel like we have to seek answers. It’s true life is filled with pain, but you don’t need answers. What is really important? Focus on that, because that is worth your thought. The human genome allows for hundreds of billions of humans to exist, and right now it is your turn. Your turn to be right here, right now, and able to make choices. You are given the gift of being able to experience beauty in life and find answers. It may remain true that the negative outweighs the positive but who says that’s a problem? The good is enough for me, I’ve come to acceptance there and found peace.

The paradox of consciousness is that, through it, one acquires some perspective on the world around themselves, nonetheless that perspective is limited by the observer's experience. In other words, the problem with being conscious is that one cannot perceive reality outside and, at the same time, one is aware of their own misery. Like it was said in the video, being born human might be an improbable event in the wholesomeness of the Universe, however it is not as if it were a blessing. Should one know beforehand what is like being human, one would scrap their enterprise of being given birth.

By accepting it, one can live life without strong attachments and stress about loosing things and people we love because sometime in future all of it are gone anyway. You're just here, here and now to experience these life as movie in first person's perspective and as movie its just cosmic play, hologram, illusion and so is your persona and it's perspective as part of it. All we can do is appreciate the good times while they last because they sure wont last long. I think about stuff like this often. I know there is no reason why we are here. We just are by accident and we have to live till we die. Life is all about surviving till you die. Friends will come and go, so will those we love. I have to remind myself to just appreciate whatever good things happen, but despite all that. I do still hurt inside and it is true that no one understand that nor will they ever. To survive we have to block that stuff out of our heads and focus on the good things. Life is not fair and we are NOT created equal. There is no real purpose or reason for us to be here. We just are. All we can do is try to make the best of it. We want to believe that all this matters or was for some purpose, but deep down we know there isnt one. When we die it's just like before we were born we case to exist once again. An there was never any reason purpose or meaning for it. We're just an accident of nature.

To fully understand yourself where you'd able to predict everything about your life is not a life worth living anyway. 4. The idea that life can only be experience in the subjective is not entirely correct. If we can agree that we are in the same room and if people use the same process which creates repeated results, then there is evidence of a shared reality. 5. The idea of free will requires you to be a god. Circumstances that we are in is something we intrinsically know anyway, but I choose free will for pragmatic purposes. It doesn't matter to me which one is correct. 6. Disagree. It is naive to equat perfect with happiness. 7. Well what about the persuit of artistic expression? 8. This is true. But the degree of importance you put to the end is still kinda on you. I can argue on any finite number lets say a billion years. In this amount of time, I will be forgotten. In fact, the earth by then won't be habitable. I feel as if people who fear of being forgotten is more that life doesn't last as long as they hope to for them to careless of being forgotten. You need to let go or you stop thinking about it. 9. I equat this view to pessimism. It is in relation with the degree of importance of how highly you value happiness. 10. Cool monologue.
