This is wHorrywood in it's terminal phase. They can only think of how much money they can embezzle before the end. Yes, embezzle. In Japan Godzilla -1 was made for 15 million, and looks better than any of last year's flop-busters. And also.... have you ever seen Mel Brook's "The Producers"? It sure explains a lot.

It's about erisk avoidance. The logic goes: X made lots of money. ERgo, anything like X is a much safer thing to make, as it's more likely t omake more money! (Hence: Why we see big trends) Which descends into: 'Only safe money is maknig previous movies that made money'. Or in other words: Natural consequence of making profit for the shareholders the primary goal of the movie industry.

Listen gang. I know The Mummy (1999) is a cinematic masterpiece. It’s great and I love it. But I am BEGGING y’all to remember that IT ITSELF IS A REBOOT OF THE MUMMY (1932). The 2017 flick was going to try to harken back to the OG Universal Monster movies from the 30s and 40s. Then Tom Cruise got involved and it became a Tom Cruise Movie. Of course, there were a lot of other things wrong about it (making a billion dollar remake of a movie whose charm was in part due to a low budget) but y’all have got to understand that the legacy of The Mummy didn’t start with Brendan Fraser. It started with Boris Karloff. Put some respect on his name.

❤The Running Man is a Stephen King novella. The arnie movie is garbage. Hopefully, this will be a more faithful adaptation of the source material

I've been wanting a live action Lilo & Stitch. Really only Disney one that needs a love action besides Treasure Planet and Atlantis.

I wasn;t interested in the Highlander remake until I heard Henry Cavil was going to be the Highlander. Anything action with him, even a remake, sounds good to me.

Just FYI: Brendan Frasier's Mummy movie is actually a remake to the 1932 version with Boris Karloff. Also, I'm surprised it was left out of the video; the upcoming running man remake is supposed to be much closer to the Stephen King novel. And there are quite a few people out just in my neck of the woods alone that want to see a more faithful adaptation.

the running man movie was so bad that Stephen king insisted that his name be completely removed from it .... hopefully a remake will be true to Kings Novella

Considering that King's name wasn't even on the original? (It was one of the "Richard Bachman" books.

4:33 The Mummy (again) It has been going through a handful of people in recent years and it looks like Blumhouse, Atomic Monster and Evil Dead Rising has taken on this work collab and are planning on reimaging the original with a unique fresh spin on it, something nobody has seen before.....just have to see where this goes

The Mummy could stand a chance it is the long-hoped-for film adaptation of the Anne Rice novel, but even Rameses the Damned did not merit a literary sequel.

11:41 Snow White $350m reboot has been a right mess since 2017 due to all sorts of problems including staff changes, developmental hell, covid, strikes, firings, delays, changing hands constantly, other problems, vocal opinions and stuff. It has been a long wild thing that is being pushed through despite the fact that nobody wants it. Disney knows this is going to fail, so they are been buying up tickets and seats so their employees can boost up the so called numbers. In fact, the cast and crew are long gone due to constant arguments, which is why they are using GCI in the first place. The people have been set elsewhere as punishment for being ''difficult to work with'''...but there are rumours that the movie could still go through some reshoots. Not only that, it has caused some of the cast to actual quit acting all together, because someone ''accidentally'' leaked out thier personal info online and thier private lives and thier apartments were swarmed by angry fans.
