Matador is a fight designed to teach you to use the buff/debuff system in Nocturne and all of SMT. If you buff your evasion and hit rate (Sukukaja) to the max, then the gains he made with his own buffs don't matter. You don't even need to debuff his agility, just make yours match his. He's got unnecessary combos, I blocked up to 9 back to back attacks which he seems to chance between 4-9 hits before doing something else. He has a near-cross-map slash attack along with another dash/slash which causes projectiles to spawn on the same side his sword is on and if you're not paying attention, you'll dodge into it and take heavy damage. few details worry me about the Controller from Stalker: Call of Pripyat 1. he walks slowly and can be spotted from long distance 2. he is not best dealt with using knife (you probably mixed him up with Burer) - grenades / good ammo will do, but psy-protection is in order 3. he can only attack you when he can see you and from short distance, which does not make him that big threat 4. he can turn people around you against you, which is the bigger problem (hence the name - Controller) 5. in normal circumstances he does not spawn randomly (unless you stay behind at the end or use some modded version of the game) 6. have you met Bloodsuckers in Stalker games? they can be almost invisible, move fast and do spawn semi-randomly but apart from those details Controller could be annoying

In any Fallout game Ghouls irritate me the most. Why? They move quite fast, other that hissing and growling can be extremely quiet so can sneak up on you easily, and they ALWAYS IRRADIATE YOU. @@hazelthemcwitch I have not. My biggest gripe with the N64 games is that you have to pay extra to access them and I don't feel there's currently enough to warrant the price jump. If your really want to play OOT, I recommend the 3ds remaster. At least that version has improved graphics and some QOL changes.

Murlocs from World of Warcraft. Right when you think they are beaten they run away and bring reinforcements. Especially annoying if you are fighting a bunch of them and one runs off for help. In STALKER: Call of Pripyat, the solution to Controllers is a good shotgun (preferably the drum-fed one). In fact, the solution to most of the monsters is a shotgun. Get close enough that they stop using their psy power, then back up if they try to take a swing. Unload shotgun into face. For prime annoyance, you have to go back to Shadow of Chernobyl. A Controller can randomly spawn in the abandoned village, and any time you go near it it will use a different psychic attack that turns your screen purple, plays an annoying sound, and wobbles your camera. It doesn't do any damage, but it also doesn't require the controller to have line-of-sight to you, and the range of it covers the entire village and then some. And he's usually inside a building, so you can't snipe him or even see him from a distance. Basically you are left with the choice of getting a camera screw every time you can so much as see the village, or wasting 30 minutes hunting from building to building (and fighting Bloodsuckers) until you find the bastard. And if you choose the latter, he re-spawns in a few hours.

any enemy or boss with cheap, one hit kill moves. I'm thinking specifically of Lady Yunalesca in FFX casting Death upon the entire party as her first attack in her third form. since you don't know its coming, you had no chance to prepare for it. and tho its suppose to be a high chance of a hit, not a guaranteed one, it never misses any member. meaning unless you spoiled yourself and read ahead, you are guaranteed to lose your first time, and ofcourse, this being FFX, have to watch the entire long cutscene leading into the fight again. after that you have two options, either just brute force it and keep fighting till you get lucky enough to have at least one member survive it (tho, she's a tough boss even without it so its not a guarantee either.) or farm enemies for the items needed to craft equipment that blocks "death". also pretty much any flying enemy. like the buggers in halo for example. always in swarms, hard to hit, just a pain. The fat heartless in kingdom hearts, just because you either have to waste mana on them, or try to get behind them since they can't usually be killed from the front.
