@@BobsTheBuild3r no he was talking about the metal thingy looking almost like an U. The clamp thing looks like some kind of ladder safety thing, where you clamp it down and the ladder wont slide away to the sides. But I could be wrong

It's called a joist hanger. It is used to support the joists for framing houses and decks. Not a brick....

Craft glue isn't for wood. There is a hot glue for thay, but it requires a hotter gun. For caulk, use a bigger screw. Pick up a small package of screws long and wide enough and then put tape over the screw. This can keep the tip open for 1 year or longer. Tape is good if you're using the rest of the tube the next day.

That glue one is genius man I never knew using glue on a dowel was a good idea I mean I have seen some guys do it when woodworking but man did not know how good of a top tip this was

The tip is to use hot glue instead of timber glue when inserting a dowel into an oversized hole so that the dowel will not line up with the other piece.

I've seen screws used on deck joist hangers but they are specifically made to withstand the sheer force, I personally don't know if they can be used in house framing or not but wood bully uses them, he's a KZbinr, other than that I completely concur, framing nails all the way.

@@royflora2338 yeah, couple years ago I had an inspector make me take all my screws out and use the specific nails made for joist hangers... he cited the shear strength.. I had used deck screws. Lesson well learned

I would never trust that ladder gutter attachment because firstly you NEED to CLIMB the ladder to reach the gutter most likely and secondly you are just gonna end up falling anyway and ripping your guttering out in the process especially since in the demonstration that gutter was flexing and wobbling

Just so you’re aware, the proper way to do the title would have been; “10 viral tips in 1 minute.” All you did was put the s in the wrong spot. Instead of minutes it should be minute, as there is only 1 of them. Also, instead of tip it should be tips, as there are 10 of them. Hope this helps!
