Reptile Hotel Kerry - i would definitely recommend the spider shop! I’ve never ordered from creatures of the north but I’ve heard mixed reviews about them :)

My little spiderling just died the other day it flipped onto its back to molt and then died I don’t know if it was warm or wet enough think I might just jump straight in and get a juvenile or sub adult next time. Ps I’m the biggest pussy when it comes to spiders but I have great respect for them 🕷

Evans Vlogs just did lots of research! Most tarantulas you buy now days have been bred and haven’t come from the wild, also I would say they are happy in captivity.. food comes to them and they are safe from other animals.. if you proved the best husbandry for them I’m sure they don’t mind

@@aikasavage3302 expanding on what Bradon has said, explain that Tarantulas are extremely easy to care for, they are inexpensive unlike most animals and prove you have done your research on what genus and species you would want. Could I suggest brachypelma as they are very docile and dont tend to move quick. Show your mum videos like this, Bradon handled the T's perfectly, also watch dark den as he has videos on why people should have tarantulas as pets, also daveslittlebeasties as he has so much knowledge and has helped me a lot. Dont show your mum videos of defensive tarantulas or bolting tarantulas as you dont want to reinforce the idea that they are really dangerous because in all honesty most new worlds aren't, but you do need to show them respect as they all have large fangs that would leave a nasty bite and new worlds have urticating hairs which could cause irritation. It might take a while to convince her as in many months but if you do it the correct way you show that it's not a silly idea and you have done your homework into the care of them. The genus is actually known for jumping, it tends to be terrestrial species that have more fragile bodies. The distance it jumped was less that 2 inches but I understand what you are saying. T's need love too lol

He ordered the boxes from the spider shop which is in the UK. It would depend on which country you are in as to where you can order from. If you live on the EU then you best bet would be spiders world.eu if you are in north America then I would suggest watching tarantulaKat and tarantula collective as they are both in northern America so know suppliers there. Hope this helps.

@@cassieclover99 unfortunately because the spider shop is located in the UK you would find a lot of there T's couldnt be shipped outside of the UK. Apparently it's to help try and stop people smuggling wild caught T's, how true this is I'm not sure and if it is true I'm not sure how well its working lol. You should check out daveslittlebeasties he has amazing enclosures and a lot of amazing spiders.
