About Warframe being not a race: I would argue it is not a sprint but a marathon. Many players just stop playing altogether because they "just wanted to take a break". Try do small things like get your daily bonus, open a relic or play a Steel Path Incursion. More than entirely burning out, I saw accounts die because of a "small break". So keep at it, but keep at it a slow pace.

Let me just point this out, your mistake is letting me pilot your railjack. Most players that find me piloting their railjack will get the Mandela Effect thinking they've seen certain areas but something seems VERY WRONG. Your sense of direction will immediately get turned on it's head when you realize I fly all those missions UPSIDE-DOWN, as direction in space is relative, and enemies are forced to fly in certain ways to attack and escape an upside-down railjack.

something to consider, the broken war you get from the quest already has a catalyst installed, so dont use it as part of the actual completed war sword blueprint, youre better off farming a new broken war from shadow stalker.

Considering the "War" is a bad weapon and the "Broken war" a good one, it's better to farm a new Broken War to keep the catalyst, because at the end you need to farm (or buy) one anyway if you want to use the Broken War

Xoris < broken war < zaw The best weapon a fresh player could get is a zaw until it only needs reputation and ressources from eidolon plaines (with some help ofc)

About platinum usage, and I am saying this knowing it is the unpopular opinion: I have tried getting into Warframe more than a few times and every time I gave up because I could not find that "immersion" feeling into the starter frames, nor did found the motivation to grind one which I liked, which would have been the Nekros in my case. Long story short, I eventually bought one from the start (with a small purchase of platinum on discount) and guess what, I have more than 600 hours now in the game. I guess it is about a personal choice, but I do believe you can spend platinum in the beginning into whatever you desire, as long as it gets you that motivation to immerse yourself into the game. Other than that, a great video that will help newbies avoiding certain mistakes which are tempting to do indeed :)

Yeah, but you should only do that if you have discount on plat, because Warframes from shop are really expensive. But it's just as you say - some Warframes are pain in the ass to get (for me it would be Hildryn and Dagath), so I can see why someone would rather buy them instead of farming for them.

With the starting 50 plat you should buy complete starter slot bundle which gives you 2x warframe 2x companion and 2x weapon slots. Whole bundle is 50 plat

I'm a veteran player that has completed nearly everything this game has to offer and I still thoroughly enjoyed watching. And yes, I made every mistake listed, this an absolute gem of a video. One last mistake is picking Excalibur as my starting frame, since you get "you know who" later on. Volt is probably the best pick since he's useful for most scenarios including "you know what" hunts.

I started the New War Quest with a rank 0 unmodded Railjack. I had no crew members and had to travel like thousand of metres, killing enemies and surviving this shit. I always died, again and again and thought about quitting the game because I was stuck in that mission for more than two weeks. About the broken war, i was devastated when it was gone. Come later to cross save and i connected my switch account to my pc account, and i got it back now. It's my primary weapon of choice.

One of my pieces of advice is don't use your relics until you know what you're farming for. Relics can be hard to come by, especially vaulted relics. Only farm relics when you want a prime or forma. Saw a new player today opening them to open them, something I did early on and I'm kicking myself because a lot of those are vaulted. SAVE YOUR RELICS!!!!!

You absolutely can get through the new war quest with unranked unmodded necramech and railjack you just have to go all in on completing the railjack part as fast as you can and you can outpace the ship dying. The necramech part wasn't bad with no mods.

Thanks for making the list, just came back to the game after probably 6 or more years (stopped playing a bit after plains update dropped) and super overwhelmed with what is going on. Chill is so true :D after initial flood of information and just playing for a moment and needed a break already, I now kept playing a bit more again in one go and just focus on some quests and stuff and slowly grind away those while getting used to the game again and the new content , inventory and currencies etc.

I completed all of The New War with completely non-upgraded Necramech and Railjack. Maybe they changed it within the last 8 months but it really wasn't that difficult. The only part I got stuck on was when they told me to use "forward artillery" and I just didn't know you had to leave the pilot seat and go behind it to enter a different seat for the artillery.

I didn't do it for fear the game wouldn't stop me, but I noticed you can sell whole warframes in your inventory, and as someone who just started and only had one frame, I was shocked to note the button to sell it was not greyed out. If there is a safeguard in place that prevents you from selling your only frame, then that's fine, but I don't know if there is one or not.

I disagree with point 5, the open worlds thing. you should start leveling up the entrati standing as soon as possible, so you dont struggle to get the ores to craft a necramech when you need it. I was stunlocked for a whole week because of the daily standing limit. I could make 0 progress in the story for a whole week because the ores are locked so far in to the entrati.

As a founder listening to this list, I mostly agree. I have definitely spent money on Warframe, but plat is definitely the rarest and most precious thing you have. If you have a login reward that gives you two things you can farm and something you can only get with plat, take that. ALWAYS take weapon or warframe slots if you have an option.

@@den_bush you don't buy aura mods with plat. You buy the aura mods for 20 nightwave creds each and sell for 10p each. (You can probably sell higher if you choose certain mods and hold on to them for a bit). Doing this it's 40 creds per potato instead of the usual 75

Something I was surprised was NOT in this list, that was a HUGE pain in the ass for me, and was honestly just supremely unlucky- I sold all the non-Primed variants of Warframes that I DID have the Primes for, like a month before they announced the Helminth system. BOY DID THAT SUCK. I still haven't farmed up the all of the normal frames, because I only bother when I actually want to install the relevant ability... but damn. Hold onto those non-prime frames until you get the prime version, then SUBSUME, don't SELL.

It doesn't cost any slots to keep the frame or weapon in the foundry so you can build a lot's of stuff if you don't have slots get one by one out of a foundry level them up for mastery rank then sell them or feed frames to helmith.

16:30 the prime junk topic, my mind set about this is like: I keep prime junk with me because i find my self a lot of times giving full sets of randons weapons/warframes that a friend or even random players i find on my games for free to help then same for mods etc etc, if i need plat i wil lfarm especific itens that have high prices or some times when possible buy plat with the 75% discount n.n' But nice video i wish i knew most of this stuff when i started warframe back on 2015 x)

Will say sadly the Archon bit is a bit outdated, Chipper no longer sells it since DE is trying to shift it over to the newest content. As for Selling Prime Junk, personal opinion is hold til you get a full set before selling. You'll have better luck selling a set then individual pieces unless you are willing to sell to a buyer who's asking for below the average selling price of individual pieces. Plus as a set, there are a few weapons that profit more being sold as a set then individually. Convenience vs Effort in the Market :>

I just got back to Warframe after several years afk. I stopped on MR28. So much stuff going on I feel I need to relearn everything. Today I made the mistake of selling a Inaros Prime Set on the market; just to find out I don't actually have it myself lol. However is not hard to get plat in this game, AS LONG you know how to farm relics. The game definitely has a high learning curve. Right now I am in the process of farming my Necromech. I retired on 2019 after the Railjack update. I know I have to level that thing up, oh yeah, for sure. At least is not the Archwing lmao. WTF are archon shards? omfg....(here we go...) Nice vid. these aren't account dooming mistakes lmao. you can 100% play the game with friends and don't need to think of it as a solo game just because your forced to do most of the quests solo. also I will gladly hold onto my mountain of misc. prime parts since weapons and frames get vaulted when new primes drop. not to mention you need every weapon/ prime for mastery. don't just get rid of your prime parts unless you know you don't need them or already have them

It literally doesn’t matter if you sell mods for credits or endo, you get so many mods just while playing that it doesn’t actually matter. It doesn’t matter if you play the open world areas instead of the star chart, just play what you enjoy. I had literally 0 mods or upgrades on my railjack or necramech. You don’t actually need them to complete The New War, just have to persevere if you keep failing.
