My dad was driving fine at 80, even at night, going places with mom & enjoying life. He ended up going to the ER with a hip fracture & infection to his hip replacement and went thru a long surgery. A week later, he had another big surgery. He was never the same after and developed dementia and passed a 1.5 yr later. I really believe those 2 long operations so close together were what caused his dementia. Yea, I know he was old, but he was doing great before everything happened. I truely think he wouldn't have gotten dementia if it weren't for those 2 surgeries.

Your parents (all of them) had a subtle "hidden" health troubles i.e. inflamations all over but in a state of compansation and can do well in the normal situations under proper circumstances, but once exposed a major stressful condition like severe injury, major surgery or significant medical or psychological problem decompansation occurs and the body fails partially or totally. Therefore everyone should build a reserve as big as possible for these conditions and get used to repeated acute stresses for shorter periods during the whole life like training and fasting.

My Mom was diagnosed with early onset dementia at 64. She did have habits that probably contributed. Her stress was always high, long time smoker, she ate a lot of processed food and she never exercised. We started noticing signs long before diagnosed. Usually we noticed socially inappropriate behavior the most. It's been 3 years and she has deteriorated so much and is in memory care now. It's a heartbreaking disease watching someone you love slowly slip away. My husband and I have tried to adjust our lifestyle to hopefully reduce our health risks. We both run competitive trail racing(18-33 miles), lift heavy weights, eat whole foods, practice intermittent fasting and work to manage stress in healthy ways. No smoking or drinking. I love learning more and videos like this are so appreciated! I have 5 young children (all under 12 years). I want to be fit and healthy for them as long as possible.

I do what I refer to as my Wild Woodland Walk and Workout. Essentially I utilise the topography of a local country park which is centred around a small loch as an outside gym. For example, benches for press ups, sprints up steep braes and cut timber as lifting weights. It also has the added benefits of being outside and alongside nature, which is a physiological and psychological bonus.

@@flyingcircus808yoga is awesome! good for you. I do a combo of iyengar paying extreme attention to positioning and ashtanga and vinyasa... so basically, I have high percentage of positions linked into a flow so I'm muscularily and balance wise engaged throughout range of motion moving from one to the next. using body weight, I go very slow with difficult transitions but often switchup and do a set or 2 quicker. its engages your body & mind... it trains your mind to switch off thoughts and go internal which is relaxing and much needed for overstimulated environment... you're doing great to recognize this. the best mind regeneration works best away from a class and out in nature if possible, so you aren't in a more mind engaged and social state of mind. being able to control mind is a great benefit that carries with it into your regular life... blessings to you❤

Most elderly people have problems getting up off the floor. As a child you spend a lot of time on the floor, adults do not. Doing yoga / stretching exercises on the floor can improve balance, mobility, flexibility and the ability to get up and down.. Just getting up and down to the floor in a controlled manner is difficult for many older adults. Play with your children on the floor. Bend over, get down and pull weeds in your garden. Play with a pet on the floor. The more effort you make to work on balance and flexibility will pay dividends as you age.

I had quite a few of these for several years. They improved some on keto, but improved entirely when I went carnivore. When I try and reintroduce vegetables or other non-carnivore foods I get a return of symptoms. If I'm eating low carb vegetables the symptoms return slower than if I'm eating high carb foods.
@YeshuaKingMessiah25 күн бұрын
So u can have a salad once a week and not get much symptoms, right? I would like fresh ground whole-wheat sourdough bread every few days too. These are my goals lol But they r likely yrs away 🙁
@ginadean56968 күн бұрын
Carnivore with mostly grass fed beef and some salmon and eggs with butter. Eczema cleared up, felt calmer and sharper, my energy was steady, slept sounder and longer, lost weight and at my proper BMI at 63. I also swim or walk 5x a week.

Yikes, 45 and having many of these symptoms despite eating well and regularly exercising. Mentality is an issue for me so i guess that's where I need to focus
@GingerPeacenikАй бұрын
Perimenopause also causes many of these symptoms, as does menopause, but many are only temporary. Diary of a CEO's channel has a good video on this topic.
@kfalhaberАй бұрын
I'm male so it's not menopausal. More likely to be anxiety but seeing this didn't help that...
@GingerPeacenikАй бұрын
@ men go through something very similar. My male friends joke about having "manopause". Maybe have your hormone levels checked just to be sure; could be related to low T or high estrogen (the latter is often due to environmental factors).
@kfalhaberАй бұрын
Thanks, wasn't aware of that. My symptoms from this video have come on kind of suddenly so I think that probably points more towards anxiety than dementia but regardless I know I need a more positive attitude whatever is causing my symptoms

This doctor needs to be cloned and put into every medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about health. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos.. I respect this man immensely. 🙏🙏🤷

I'm screwed and I'm only in my 30s. Slurred speech sometimes like I have to really put effort not to slur sometimes, depression and anxiety, irritated, poor sleep, withdrawn from people for the most part or at least feel disconnected, forgetting passwords sometimes. The only thing I got going for me is the gym. The only time I'm happy and live in the present is when I'm working out.

@ I think my issues are circumstantial because I live in a very toxic home but I have no choice because I take care of my dad. My parents are depending on me financially. So maybe all these symptoms are from me being stressed and sad all the time.

The coordination and fine motor skill problems are progressive and intensely impacted by all types of inflammation. I've had PsA (Psoriatic Arthritis), OA (Osteo), and Degenerative Cervical Disk disease my entire life. It's genetic and there is no cure. It became disabling at about age 55. Modern biologics have been a Godsend, and enabled me to stand and walk again pain-free. All jobs rely on fine motor with our joints - fingers, hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, etc. If insurance comps allowed people to start the biologics asap, it could slow the progression and possibly prevent disability. These meds cost $15,000 - 25,000 per injection every 8 weeks. They too can stop working after a few years. So you then need to try a different one. They obviously come with not fully known side effects as well, bc they're fairly new. But if you were the one who could no longer bend to sit on the toilet, you'd insist they become affordable & available to all who need it.

It’s absolutely ridiculous! Changes need to be made… big pharma and insurance only care about the $$.😤
@YeshuaKingMessiah25 күн бұрын
I don’t think u listened to the vid nor have watched his other vids There are many ways to stop inflammation w/o meds. To even eliminate “no cure” conditions. There are many who have, and are, doing it.

#1 sign of dementia. You eat American carb, sugar and vegetable heavy meals 3-4 times a day. Your glucose is always elevated. It should be way below 120-130 most of the day. A1C should be 5.5 or lower. Target is 5.0 -avg 100 blood glucose. Your body is inflamed and have aches and pains. This is not normal aging guys. Mine is gone after a month on keto and am now doing carnivore because vegetables make me depressed.
