Oh wow. This is kind of the method I use but styled upside down. I was wondering if anyone used hair stray to get the gel cast effect. I'll try this method, I hate styling upside down lol. And yes, my scalp does get super itchy and burny when I apply products to close to my scalp. Gotta b careful with that.

I think hairspray has a lot of alcohol in it, generally speaking, which is probably why people don't use it to get the cast. The alcohol would really dry out your hair. Definitely not Curly Girl Method, either. 💗🌵
