Not mine thankfully. If I have fears about the whole thing I let them know and they tell me I have nothing to worry about. They each have kids of their own, so they do their best to use their knowledge to help me stay calm

I am not even pregnant, but have been watching what to expect when pregnant, delivering, postpartum videos it has made me really reconsider if it is worth getting pregnant. It seems so painful and misery. Watching this video has helped some. Thanks for making this.

LivingTheDream : Homesteading I would suggest looking up videos about natural births; even if that's not something you're interested in, they tend to be much more positive and focus on addressing fears and concerns in an empowering way. :)

I'm not afraid of the pain, I'm only afraid of the stupid hospital, the arrogant doctors, the 'procedures', staying there after delivery in that horrible, ugly, sad place instead of being at home in my clean, familiar environment. I planned everything, I have a birthing plan, but I'm sure the doctors will ignore my wishes, because they always do this here in this country. They only follow their procedures, regardless of the patient's wishes. Every time you really, really want something, you need to get angry and scream on them, otherwise they're not taking you seriously.

I have almost 4 weeks left until my baby is due to make an appearance and my anxiety has been up and down. It's been fluctuating because I've been trying to manage my stress since I know stress is not good for the baby, but there have been at least a couple nights so far when I'm cuddling with my man trying to enjoy a movie, when it suddenly becomes hard to breathe and I just start crying. Whenever I get overly worked up like that he does his best to reassure me that I'll be fine, our baby will be fine, and that my body was made to do this

I can relate so much to this. I have a few weeks left till baby is here but it's very freaky. My husband keeps telling me I was made to do this but one minute I'm okay and the next I'm all freaked out and cant breathe

@@ammaaraholiver942 I can safely say all will be well. I was in labor for over 24 hours so I had to have a c-section. But now that the worst is over, I have my baby and my body is recovering as long as I don't overdo it. I know it's hard, but just keep in mind that the hospital staff will take care of u and ur baby. I m not pregnant but planning pregnancy.. And I had history of anxiety attacks before 4yrs.. I managed that with meditation and yoga... But now again I m going through all this anxiety symptoms just thinking about it and it gets so worst that at a point I literally drop the option to be pregnant.. I m struggling to overcome this, I again started meditation and yoga... I hope it will help this time too...

I am frightened because my spouse will be deployed, my parents are addicts and I don’t speak with them, and my friends live so far. I will likely be alone for the scariest part of my life. Not only that, but I have a panic disorder and hospitals can give me heightened anxiety. I have a lot of doubt in my ability to be able to handle this experience alone.

What if another nurse tries to kill me/my baby again by not following the law and ensuring we get seen by a doctor/nurse midwife? What if I'm held down again, against my will - begging for them to stop while a doctor rams his arm into me? What if I inform the staff that I have a needle phobia again, and the nurse trying to place the IV laughs and states 'AND HOW many tattoos do you have? - again? (answer is zero tattoos btw) What if I'm mocked by the staff in general again? This is the second pregnancy I've been diagnosed with gestational diabetes - and also the second time my doctor has failed to prescribe any kind of care or monitoring for it. What do I do? I've followed up to try and get my testing kit - but my requests have been ignored. What if my baby is too big or I become ill due to this negligence? I'm quite tempted to give birth unassisted at home. As I do not trust anyone - barely myself.
