Mmm…Quoi dire😊 Soo many young couples are struggling and you folks have cleared some stones on their path for them. Even after my 42 years of marriage it is refreshing to see how keeping God the first place keeps things in perspective. Bonjour de Paris. Enjoy your videos and I share them with the listening ears .:). ❤

These were some beautiful tips and wisdom. Loved when Elijah was talking about how we deserve nothing and being grateful for what the other spouse does. Keep it up guys!

Lots of good stuff! I especially like #7! My husband and I always talk good about each other behind one another’s back. Having a united front is so important and creates integrity for sure. Blessings!

I love the toothpaste suggestion! Anything that lets the other person know you were thinking of them in a seemingly mundane moment. Also, I let out a good giggle at, "exactly what a spy would say". 😂

Love the comment on keeping your mind fresh with new ideas! I also married my husband because (1reason) he's a learner and a grower. 💜 the couples I see who don't pursue new ideas and skills are always on their phones or are always talking about other people...that breeds disinterest and sourness for sure! I love (as a mother of 4.8 myself) that at the end of the day it's not mindless talk, but truelly interesting topics. And when I'm in a busy season and not able to pursue this myself, I love learning new things from my spouse. Smart is sexy. Deeply discussing the Bible is sexy. Talking about how Joe next door bought a new car and what his credit score is, NOT sexy. (Real conversations from real married couple...😬)

I remember Elisha saying in another podcast it’s about doing something today so it can grow for our future self. Katie also says it’s easier to break it down for everyday so we don’t get overwhelmed I like the idea of learning and growing

Hi there guys, my husband and I just found you a few weeks ago and have been loving your videos. It is so encouraging and refreshing to see the male and female Godly perspective on a lot of your topics and so we wanted to request a video on how you guys talk to your boys about purity. The fact that your kids being so YOUNG were able to open up to you guys about how they either looked away quickly or looked for a little longer when they saw those girls with little clothes was just so beautiful to us. We would love to hear how you guys plant that seed on them and present those subjects to them in this time where promiscuity is found EVERYWHERE! We would love to hear how your husband specifically is able to relate to them in that sense as well as how you play a role as their mother on relating to them afar from displaying modesty in your own home.

The ways you two love each other are adorable, funny, inspiring and God-honoring. The new video style is a bit goofy, but I forgive it, as I have been a big fan since I first was introduced to you a couple months after your wedding day. Carry on - brave, good, faithful ones!!

Yes to the not demeaning your spouse and choosing to honor them! With that said, we have to consider that Christ didn’t rebuke or correct in private for any sake. He lovingly corrected on the spot as a priority instead of desiring to maintain any particular viewpoint/reputation from others. I consider this often. I’ll try the toothpaste effort for my husband 😃 thank you for the great idea.

You guys are so encouraging! My husband and I moved away from family less than a year ago and we’ve had to be more intentional about doing fun activities together or going out, there’s no more drop the kids off at grandmas. Our situation made us realize just how much of a team we are. What we need to work on is going to bed together though, I’m the night owl here 😄 mostly because I have a 7 month old who wants to be held all the time & when he’s down for the night is when I focus on chores. It’s a bad habit, I know :/ So many times I go to bed with a messy kitchen just cuz I wanna go to bed with my husband. I know it’ll pass; it’s so hard with littles. My toddlers have been learning chores so it’s actually helpful lol.

If it helps I have 4 under 5 at home while hubby works 11-12 hours. We do our big clean ups after breaky before homeschool and another an hour before hubby gets home so it’s tidy for everyone and dinner. After dinner it takes me about 30 minutes to clean the kitchen/dining area and do a quick pick up so I can relax with him (and an early consistent bed time with all the kids). We usually get 2-3 hours alone this way before bed at 930-10

Love your videos. Please consider keeping your thumbnails free of photos where either of you have no shirt on or are in two piece bathing suits. Some sisters want to avoid seeing shirtless men to help keep our minds on our own husbands. It is a bit discouraging to think I have to be careful on your channel now. These videos are a blessing and I hope to be able to continue watching them.

It’s not just the podcast videos, but it is a style that is showing up on many of the newer videos. The jumpiness is hard for me also. For people who have sensory overwhelm, motion sickness, and even epilepsy related issues, visuals like this can be very triggering. Great info, though, so I will keep listening!

Something just isn't adding up for me with this channel... As far as the Learning new hobbies & skills section: you guys find time for all of these wonderful activities together (kudos), yet in other videos you've mentioned that you don't have family that lives close-by, but also that you don't leave your kids at friends' houses.... How, pray tell, do you manage this?

Many other Christian couples also have their own tips they could give.. I know as a young couple you think that you have the edge on how to have a successful marriage, but each marriage is different. Humbleness goes a long way. Everyone has a different situation - some mothers mother alone - and not every couple is on the same page. I also had my grand ideas as a young wife and I can say in my situation I gave it my all, but as I grew older I learned each family has their own dynamics. Not everything is cut and dry cookie cutter.

I recommend taking that shower together once a month, while your bodies can still handle it. Also because #5 is not a guarantee. There are many things we can't control and puff, physical beauty is gone. Enjoy it while it lasts.
