As soon as I saw the 'pet dryer' I howled with laughter. Talk about pampered! They're so gorgeous. If I had a rag doll cat who had kittens, I don't think I could give them up. They're so precious:)

I know it’s crazy, maybe I just come from a really strange family, but I had cats when I was a young kid and threw probably 20 years old before the last one died, I don’t think they ever had a bath but they were outside cats also. I still miss them and they’ve been gone for 20 years. I rescued and saved a cat on the 30th it was stuck in a truck bed underneath it, it took four hours, I think the universe is telling me I should adopt that one.

Usually ragdoll owners will give them baths because they always get poo on their bum, but I only ever wash them in warm water up to half their paw height and with a damp Microfibre antibacterial antimicrobial cloth without soap, if they are dirty only, because cats have special antibacterial tongues that clean their fur, some cats cant reach all places, so its good to regularly brush them a few minutes a day to help, and if they are really dirty then wash them in water below the stomach with a Norwex Microfibre antibacterial cloth, ive had my Norwex cloth 5 years and its amazing, still in great condition as I use a natural Norwex Microfibre cleaner every 4 months just to give it a deep clean. and ill put it in washing machine twice a week. but its recommended to bath cats every 4 to 6 weeks, I rarely do it ever, only when my cat cant clean that area, so I wash the dirty area with a warm damp Norwex Microfibre cloth. 😊

most ragdolls need baths because they always get poo on their bum. but i only wash mine in water halfway up their paw height without soap, I use a antibacterial antimicrobial Norwex cloth to clean them, omg its amazing. and old cats need help cleaning too maybe every 6 weeks but I dont recommend soap because cats have to special coating to protect them against diseases and sickness, their tongues act as a antibacterial antimicrobial as well and releases onto their fur while they clean, cats truly are amazing!

she was using dawn dishwashing liquid on one episode for the kittens. but I would just use a natural kitten or older cat shampoo without chemicals, and its important to avoid their face and ears.

yes that can be true, some cats pee on carpet when stressed as well and if there is other cats they are trying to mark their territory. usually it can happen if kitty litter is full too, its recommended to change the kitty litter once a day and its been recommended to have 1 kitty litter per cat. my vets recommended.

While most cats will not need baths until they're older, it is important to get them used to baths as kittens in case of emergencies where they may need a bath to remove toxic materials that you cannot let them lick off, if they are elderly and cannot clean themselves properly, or if they are severely matted and need to be groomed.

I say this as someone who works at a vet hospital and sees it regularly - trying to bathe a cat who is elderly and cannot care for itself, or is in other desperate need, but has never had a bath before, that is immensely more stressful and traumatic than the occasional bath as a kitten. It's not something that happens every week, as that is not good for their coats.
