This was really useful for me, thank you for posting it. I had my surgery and am non weight bearing, so it is good to get an idea of what to expect after this stage.

Have you ever thought why some of us have to go through this life trauma. Why can't it not happen.

I have my 6 week post op in a couple of days, when were you cleared to start driving?

I can't remember when I was cleared to drive, but I remember being extra anxious. My surgery was in December and I didn't get behind the wheel until April. So it took me 4 months because my operated foot was my right foot. I still drive with 2 feet since my right foot isn't flexible enough to switch from brake to gas

I had ankle surgery two weeks ago and had that same exact pain. It was horrible. 🥲 Great to see you are so much better.

Yeah, same here. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago, I had to stay in hospital for 4 nights. It was the worst pain of my life and it came in waves. Awful. Thankfully it was easier to get really good painkillers in hospital. They ended up giving me a really strong opiate and that did the trick. They said it was so strong that it was not available to patients outside of a hospital setting. 😮
