Walking is an amazing place to start, also try your best to be mindful of the things you eat. Once you start seeing small results, it will motivate you to keep going. Trust me. ❤️

Go ahead...You don't need the extra calories...Also fenugreek helps with milk supply increase...I lost weight my 1st 2 and that helped. I need serious help now😂😂😂..My 1st and last c section last year and I have no feeling.

Go into a slight calorie deficit that definitely should help you, and try your best to stop eating when you are full.

Same here! I'm 5'7 lost 39lbs plateau 197. I'm in a calorie deficit. Waiting to go back to the doctor to see my weight. Can't keep a scale in my house. I will be on it everyday.

Hello, I’m a new subscriber! I’m also, in my early 50’s…I’m starting ANOTHER health journey to lose 50lbs. As well as, get stronger. I’ve done this TWICE in my lifetime. Then, due to Life..Life-ing’ I lapsed back into Bad Habits & gain the weight back. That being said, YOU ARE SUCH A WISE YOUNG WOMAN! The approach to losing weight is entirely different from the approach to maintaining it. During weight loss, you eat in a calorie deficit. Once you reach your goal weight and shift to maintenance, you consume at your normal TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). If you continue eating in a deficit, you'll keep losing weight, which is fine if that’s your goal, but maintenance and weight loss diets are not the same. The types of foods you eat might be similar, but you can enjoy more indulgences within reason, as long as they fit within your daily caloric needs.

Thank you for posting this... I'm a new subscriber to your channel... The points you make are 100% accurate.... Juts as an added note for all those out there that with doing weights to tone and / or build muscle they must remember to NOT be a slave to weighing themselves.... As you continue to do weights they must remember that muscle weighs more than fat... So if they love doing weights 3, 4 or more times a week they will build muscle but don't be disappointed if the scales creep back up.... My personal measure is how my clothes fit... If you are able to wear the smaller clothes from years ago you have in your wardrobe then that is progress xxx

Thank you for the advice. Definitely appreciate it, but muscle and body fat weigh the same if you compare equal volumes. One pound of muscle weighs the same as one pound of fat; a pound is a pound regardless of the substance. However, muscle and fat differ significantly in density. Muscle is much denser and takes up less space than fat. This means that for the same weight, muscle will occupy less volume than fat. Consequently, two people with the same body weight might look quite different depending on their muscle-to-fat ratio.

Yessss you’re so right!My biggest struggle is starting so your so right, I just have to get past the first week and not getting sidetracked (which alsooooo throws my whole journey away if it’s too soon) my last time allllll over after having a cheat meal on the 4th of July thst never ended 😂I said not this time I’m all in until I hit my goal. I hope guys are also welcome on your channel. Came across your IG on my algorithm as I’ve been following more fitness and dieting accounts. This video I found really helpful and encouraging. I’m 40, 6’1”, 200 lbs, I’ve lost almost 30 pounds the past 10 months but have definitely plateaued since March. I ate more mindfully but never dieted per se. The calorie deficit makes so much sense, I downloaded the LoseIt app and it has helped me see what’s actually in what I consume. I’m in the first week of a cut and it’s been a challenge, felt super hungry earlier this week but today went really well. Didn’t feel starving after the gym. And I’ve been focusing on protein and cutting fatty/sugary foods. Some of your recipes look amazing, I’m going to have to try them myself. This video was very helpful and encouraging and I look forward to exploring more of your content
