I have the American version of the re7 CE, came with a house music box and a finger usb, but it's a different design then the European one. The house works flawlessly and looks a bit smaller then the euro one. My finger usb looks old and burnt. One of my favorite CE's I own.

To be fair it was only the EU Res 7 version (non-music box) house that stank and fell apart, the US version was better quality and the USB finger was a lot better too. Not sure why Capcom shortchanged us in Europe so badly there.

Glad to hear your positive thoughts about it. TBH, I thought it was cool and sick since I love gory stuff after growing up with MK Trilogy on PS2. Also, I like the tone it fits for Dead Island’s zombie paradise. And BTW, might as well get it since I played Dead Island and enjoy it. Even tho it’s only sold exclusively in the 360 collector’s box and not separately like most collectable gaming items today, along with me having both titles on Steam, I wouldn’t mind having it again for 360 this time as long as I got the brutal prop on my set. Might look good next to my Resident Evil 4 chainsaw controller I have.

I knew the Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Collector's Edition was going to be a mouse pad, but that particular one is pretty weak. Seriously, I've seen better. Record of Agarest War in particular...

I think as far as it goes I would have bumped DoA Extreme 3 off the list. I mean the mouse pad is weird, but it's fan service parading around in a volleyball shell. If it's just about the mouse pad though, you could have went with Record of Argarest War: Really Naughty Edition. I would have put RoAW in DoA's place.

I hate to say this but...that Dead or Alive collector's edition is actually pretty impressive. Like the mouse pad is probably going to be helpful and the art book seems really well made and show they know their audience for sure. It's not for me, but it's very good for that one guy we all know

Actually that Riptide and FEAR figures is AWESOME. YES, they sure of bad taste and looks gross, but goddamit, they at least delivered that they promised, unlike hordes of other games which swiftly cancelled or trimmed down radically their collectors editions. Promise awesome edition, cancel cool stuff and leave crap with bunch of coupons or DLC codes - muuuch better.

I think the write-up of the lord of the rings quiver was a bit unfair, it looks very cool and you can actually use it as a quiver if you're an archery fan. The map looks very cool too. I'd use the hell out of that if I didn't hurt myself with the string...

I have the Stray Sheep edition of Catherine, no boxers or pillow case. Different shirt, but also beer mats and a poster. Plus coming in a pizza box is some good novelty value.

I definitely like the Persona 5 Royal LE. For $30 more, you get the MC's mask with a stand to display, an artbook, the soundtrack on a CD, a collectable box, and the game in a Steelbook.

When I purchased LOTR: War in the North for the Xbox 360 at my local Best Buy, they had so many extra statues from collector's editions that they were just giving them away. Oh, and the game was already discounted. So I got a collector's edition for $20. To this day, that's the only collector's edition of a game I ever received, and I didn't even really buy it.

War of the North wasn't that weird, I didn't think. In fact, it looked pretty cool actually. A much better example would have been the collector's edition of Farcry 3 that came with a replica Hula girl dashboard ornament. Wouldn't have been weird at all, apart from the frankly inexplainable decision to put the head of the game's villain, Vas on the female torso!?!

Can't just be me who thinks the bust from Dead Island looks pretty cool, right? It's a bust from Dead Island. You knew what you were ordering when you did it. It's thematic for the game and it looks pretty dope if you're into gore. I wasn't a fan of the game itself, but I wouldn't mind displaying a bust like that in my home.
