I’ve been using you for a few years now. I’m finally into my first college algebra class, where I’m required to take notes on the videos my professor provides. I feel a very distinct difference when watching hers and yours. With her lesson, I memorize rules and copy down what’s on the board. Man, math has terrified me my entire life. I happen to have, though, 2 Associates degrees in programming and somehow with no advanced math. I shouldn't be, but am continually surprised how much programming takes from math. I've been nesting functions (methods) for years.

But g(x) = sq root x is not a function because it fails the vertical line test. Is one allowed to have a composite function if one of them fails the vertical line test?
