I want to thank you dude when I was about 8 I wanted to get a whip and be like Indiana Jones and watching your video some 10 years ago where you crack the whip in the snow convinced my dad to let me get one and I got pretty good at it and now I recently ordered a new whip and it has given me something to do during this quarantine thank you so much for the inspiration

Generally German countries have loud whips due to the rope near the handle being really thick and the end(schmatz) being super thin. The technique also helps in a loud bang

That's trick he does with some longer whips where he does an overhand crack and steps on the handle before the whip cracks. Pretty stylish if you ask me.

Hi Addam, I have a question: 10 years ago I bought an 8 foot whip and had gained some practice but left it, 10 years later (yesterday to be exact) I bought a 12 foot bullwhip but I couldn't control it and even my hit (apparently I lost practice): which one Is it the right size to start practicing whip? 8, 10, 12 feet?

I would recommend getting another 8 ft bullwhip to start cracking again. I also suggest you buy directly from the whip maker as many whips sold on large sites like Amazon are not well made. Look up Trinity Whip Company.
