Regarding Randy Orton, he has very limited amount of time per year to train. Therefore he wants to make the most of his training. Wrestlers perform in televised and untelevised shows and combined with the constant travelling that makes up between 200-300 days per year. Ronda Rousey worked 200 days per year and guys like Test worked 300 days per year back in the day. So whatever gym time is usually not wasted.
@theguyfromwalgreens4 жыл бұрын
As cool as it’d be to see some of your favorite athletes, people need to remember they’re people too. They’re being paid to wrestle & look the way they look. I’m sure when you’re working & traveling the way they are 300+ days a year, any time alone to do your own thing is highly valuable & it’d be hard when a workout turns into a meet and greet. She thought she was unbeatable. The media said she was unbeatable. Other UFC women said she was unbeatable. And then... she lost. There was an incredibly-talented fighter named Donald Curry who looked like he would one day be mentioned alongside the greatest welterweights ever. And then a 5-1 underdog named Lloyd Honeyghan completely dominated and stopped him after the 6th round. After that Curry was never the same. He fell into drugs and his training habits declined. Although he won an alphabet belt a few years later, he lost almost every major fight he ever had and retired after a career that spanned just 6 years. (He came back for two fights in 1997, defeating a fighter boasting a 2-33 record before losing his final match ever against Emmett Linton.) While Curry's early body of work was enough to get him a spot in the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Curry is an example of what can happen when an athlete begins to buy into the greatness that others bestow upon them.

because boo's are better than no reaction and he knows, that they hate the character, not the person behind the character. Imo Joe himself is a rly cool dude and if WWE would allow him to be more like himself he would be over with the fans.

I met Kevin Nash before. He lives in the same town as me. I didn’t know til I figured out here is a local. I was at a car wash getting my car detailed and I had to sit in this lobby. I saw him but didn’t know if it was him. I had to google him to make sure it was him and matched up tattoos. I asked him if he is who I think he is. He responded in a pissed off tone “yeah!” I didn’t try bothering him in general. I just thought it was cool.

Imagine you are at the gym, headphones in and working out for a specific amount of time because you have to pay for this session and you have other things to do that day. Then a complete stranger comes up to you, disturbing you, and then takes a picture of you without your permission. What is your reaction? Randy was already being polite by giving the fist bump. That guy pushed it too far. Same with the Brock situation. Why are you following a stranger into the bathroom?
@shawnredshaw66634 жыл бұрын
That is a great point though! Do your role as a parent rather than trying to have the world conform so that you dont have to... its also very practical advice since the latter is impossible. The fan might not like it, but the star did her a favor by giving her some solid advice.

Rhonda's alwys going to be an MMA star first. She could win the women's title, the women's tag titles, and hold them for years and she's still "MMA champion and x number women's wwe world' title winner Rhonda Rousey" As it should be, though. She tore up UFC and deserves that credit.
@gonaoverhead23844 жыл бұрын
I agree. What she did in the UFC was groundbreaking, and even in WWE she became a good pro wrestler. I just wish she had thicker skin. So, what if they want to boo you? She was always a natural heel even in the UFC. I hear she was really close to Rowdy Piper, and its a shame he passed away before her WWE run, because I think he could have gotten her to embrace the being a heel.

Some of these guys were right to react they did. Ronda is an exception. Booing is the only way wrestling fans can express who they want to see pushed. I don't think there is a wrestling fan in the world that thinks Ronda sucks. She was one of the best workers in the company. They weren't booing Ronda the person, they were booing the situation.
