@@socialjusticelogic6290 I think the story reason they gave was that Jimmy wasn't as successful on his own and realised he needed the bloodline, but they just had Cole say that on commentary. Oh, and the Nightmare Collective story about the hair: There was a reason "Mel" was bald. They were going to basically "root" her scalp with the hair of Kong's victims, do some weird voodoo stuff, and have Mel inherit all of the powers of said people from the locks of hair. She was gonna be a Frankenstein's Monster (in this case, Dr. Luther's Monster) of sorts but once Kong left, the plans fell thru.

I never realized how close I was to actually seeing the Lacy Evans \ Flair angle, I started watching wrestling again when WWE had screens in the crowd and AEW I started when Jericho was starting his feud with MJF that eventually involved that Nick Gage pizza cutter match as trial #4 that Jericho had to defeat in order to get the match with MJF. As for WWE it's funny how they literally never brought it up once I had started watching to the extent that you would never know it had happened if it weren't for other sources mentioning it. Even so I just never realized that it had taken place just a couple months before I started watching. 😄👍 😄👍

The end of the Million Dollar Mania was actually part of a larger thing that was also never explained. Namely, weird things happening (that fan who ran in front of Batista, the lighting blowing up...). They had these mishaps/incidents happen, seemingly in the name of making this live TV show look somehow even more "live", and then one day, pretty much at the end of MDM, stopped.

Brandi Rhodes made herself insufferable with that Mini Moose gimmick in TNA\Impact, she couldn't look comfortable doing anything in the ring and she looks like her arm would snap if she tried to choke slam an average sized adult human. 🤦♂️ She's never really recovered from that and her "character" attitude has never done her any favors. Joe's wasn't the only unresolved kidnapping in TNA in that era (Russo's); interviewer Lauren, who was doing a Beauty & The Beast angle with Abyss, was basically abducted at Taser-point by "Dr Stevie" (Richards), who threatened Abyss to come to therapy the next week (yes, really). The next week, Mike Tenay throws to her backstage, saying "and now to Lauren, it's good to have her back with us", and she's conducting interviews as if nothing happened, bearing no ill-effects whatsoever. Yet Abyss still goes to Stevie's "office", drinks some water from his "secretary" like a fucking idiot (top babyface!), and is rendered paralytic and gets beat down while helpless. I have no words. Apart from these, obviously... 🤣🤣
