A lot of the lower level guys revel in fans appreciating them. They do it for love of the game and realize the fans are what make them. They got to hang onto those fans because they realize how important they truly are to the business. If you get big enough and stay there, it seems like some let that appreciation go. I think that's one big reason for Cody Rhodes's Renaissance, because he realizes how important the fans are and it's apparent how much he appreciates them.

I still can't believe one of the Rock N Roll express members did a Suicide Dive and a Canadian Destroyer in their 60s. That was crazy and awesome to watch but also kinda scary since his age. Honourable mention: Tito Santana

I love that you gave flowers to the Barbarian, Simon. Not only, is he, by all accounts, a super nice guy, and one of the toughest, I'd say he's one of the most underrated big men. So agile, and strong. Phenomenal top rope headbutt and clothesline, and his big boot was devastating and always looked great. Love the Barbarian! You missed Demolition, though. They're still having matches.

I always thought WWE should have a seniors league show that was done in a similar style to Lucha Underground. Lots and lots of style (innovative lighting, everyone spray-tanned and hair colored with top-tier wrestling attire), and heavy on storylines, promos. Heavily gimmicked weapons, and a more padded ring with additional spring. There are more guys that could be used than I thought. I watched Hakushi a few years back in Japan and the guy looks incredible. Hiro Hase was making appearances fairly recently and he is another guy that can go at an unbelievable level for his age.

I don't understand why young folks think as soon as we turn 45 or 50 we can't do anything physical anymore. I'm 60 and haven't slowed down a bit. I can still do everything I did in my 20s just as well. Shit, I used to live next to a woman who climbed ladders and painted her 2 story farmhouse house every couple of years all through her 80s and 90s until the year she passed at 97. When ahe was like 82 she even went up on the roof, stripped it, and installed new asphalt shingles, by herself. I offered to help and she always refused.
