After seeing Assemble’s recent video on this topic, I believe Undertaker would be an absolute PERFECT choice for a showcase mode. Given his rich history and large library of classics with many big names with the likes of HHH, HBK, Batista, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Kane, etc., this can be the biggest showcase to date. The only downside to this though, would be no matches with Edge due to him in AEW, but other than that, Taker is more than deserving of this honor.

I’d love a Showcase showcasing the Monday Night Wars between WWF-WCW, as well as the ECW from the 90s. Wrestlers who deserve their own showcase are HBK, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, and CM Punk if and when he comes back to the WWE. The one showcase I’d love to see the most is an NXT Takeover Showcase, featuring the best classic NXT matches from the black and gold era.

With the level of acknowledgement WWE has at least given to NJPW, I think it'd be perfectly safe for them to get a hold of relevant Cody Rhodes matches that don't include any current AEW stars. They can note his time in Bullet Club while being picky about what matches are included as I just mentioned. They also own Evolve now, so they can reveal his first stop after WWE. They're at least willing to acknowledge -Impact- TNA, so they can have his match with Mike -Bennett- Kanellis there. I thinkt they can do well enough to include substantial non-WWE matches without risking much reference or foreshadowing to AEW.

Honestly would prefer if WWE bought TNA at this point so that they can expand their potential and roster. Sting would be great to have a showcase mode since most of his work post WCW was in TNA. AJ Style, and Samoa Joe are also top contenders for a showcase mode after that. Also having characters like Shark Boy, Abyss, etc. added into the roster would be peak. Imagine a WWE 2K game adding in the top legends of WCW, ECW, and TNA that haven't been in games ever or in years.

Problem is most Stables/Teams involve so many non-tag matches, lack much matches, or lack a WCW/WWF/WWE presence. By "lack of presence", I mean they were known in NWA, NJW, non-WWE ECW, AEW, etc. While having little to no time in WWE. Or the team just sucked.

yeah a Cody Rhodes showcase might be a problem cause without Hardcore Holly, Ted Dibiase Jr., & Dustin Rhodes what would the point be cause Cody won his first Championship with Hardcore Holly & him & T.D.J. were practically inseparable for most of both of their careers hell just as you mentioned Cody's first IC title win Ted helped Cody beat Ezekiel & he was there for most of Cody's reign as both partner & challenger & Cody & Dustin spent mostly together through the end of Cody's run with WWE before they did nothing with him before he left as Stardust

I think Arn Anderson should get something like a the heritage cup, you have to do TV title style 10 minutes by pinfall or submission, 3 matches over two nights not sure on how many people in it yet and I always wondered if it should be a battle Royale then the last 4 and have them do them matched up go by the TV title rules then when both matches are done match 3 determines the new champion
