I bet JBL had to swallow his pride when the Miz made it to his first world championship, then to go on and headline Wrestlemania! JBL was famous for berating Miz when he started out, saying he would never amount to anything - he never liked him, so he REALLY had to swallow his pride for that period when he was colour commentator and had to put over Miz constantly!!

Another wrestler who had to swallow his pride: Simon Miller. When losing a bet to his colleague during the 2019 Survivor series, Simon Miller had to dress up as a clown during an episode of Ups and Downs. What he said was fucked up. I didn't hear his apology but to be fair if it wasn't for Gawker violating his privacy the way they did (which Hogan got revenge by suing them into bankruptcy) nobody would of even known about it. The blacklisting is also a over the top "look at us we get it" virtue signal move. Especially considering all the shady shit the company has a whole has done. Their own history of racism, sexism & homophobia makes them come off as hypocrites when it comes to Hogan.

When it comes to Hogan and the WWE response, I'm a tad annoyed. WWE has a reputation for shying away from wrestlers that get into a hint of trouble. I feel thatif they needed to kick Hogan out of the Hall of Fame, WWE needs to stand behind that decision and make it permanent. All they did was wait a few years for the controversy to die down, and one apology later, he's back in! Honestly, can anyone tell me anything changed?
