I've been following you for years and to me, you truly defy the laws of physics with the guitar. No one plays quite like you, or makes shred look so effortless and elegant. Always a pleasure to hear your next riff, Rick.

Don't know if you'll see this Rick, you taught my younger brother guitar for a short while about a decade ago. He bounced off of it and I think you stopped teaching around that time, but I ended up picking it up as a little hobby as the guitar was just there, and took it seriously a few years later. I doubt I would have ever started otherwise. I even remember looking up who you were and just being blown away, just dreaming of being that good, but it's been awesome watching all of your videos over the years and just being driven to keep playing myself. Learning guitar changed my life completely, and it's indirectly because of you, so can't thank you enough for that man. Sorry if that's a bit corny, but I genuinely mean it. Big fan regardless of that, everything you put out is solid gold.

So many players that have your technical ability have ZERO feel and trash vibrato, no ability to play a bit bluesy at all. Your phrasing, feel, and intervallic approach is flawless and your vibrato is very intense. Your determination is inspiring.

I've been following your journey for a long time now and it's so amazing to see how much you've developed over the years. Everything you play looks so easy and so effortless. I hear 1000 notes but you barely move your hands and fingers. Evertthing's so clean as well. I always come back to your guest solo with Andy James. One of the craziest solos out there. I love how wide your style is as well. You've made some very beautiful acoustic tunes and I love your phrasing and tone. A remarkable guitarist and person. Thank you Rick for your inspiration! ❤

I love going back and watching your older videos. I think your RG560 was my favorite guitar you've owned. Although of course I really love your signature Charvel! Your RG560 was actually a very rare one too, it was the Guitar Center 27th Anniversary model. Only made in 1991, I'm not sure how many were made but it's safe to assume it's very few.
