10 Years of Wii U - What Went Wrong?

Is that a bleep I hear? Yep! Just trying out censoring some of the words that KZbin doesn't like that much, I've seen a few big channels having issues with it recently even though they only swear occasionally so I am seeing how I feel about censoring it myself. I'll admit that I do enjoy a good f word here or there, I think it helps emphasise points quite well, but I also saw a lot of people talking about how censoring it sometimes just adds to that emphasis and sometimes makes it a lil funnier. I quite like it honestly! Okay thank you buhbye! :D

It blows my mind how they managed to get so much wrong with this thing. I'd also add that there really weren't any system seller games like BOTW for the switch. But yeah, completely agree with everything you said. Good job!

Thank you! Yeah, I guess other than Super Mario Bros U but at that point many fans were kinda burned out with that series. I suppose if they managed to get BOTW out a couple of years earlier like they were hoping, it could probably have sold the system a bit more, but c'est la vie, Nintendo dropped the ball!

The Wii U was great console in my opinion, but I can’t deny the fact that it’s reception wasn’t positive. I believe if they marketed the console better and didn’t call it the “Wii U” it would’ve sold way better.

I'd say that if they focused on a good launch with lots of big 1st party games, and then marketed it better, it prob would have done a lot better! And we probably would be able to look back on it much more fondly. I honestly think the system on its own wasn't bad, but the fact that everything around it sucked dragged the system down with it :(

honestly the only draw i had towards the wii u was pokepark 2 (before i found out they dropped the ball on that game aswell) and wind waker. safe to say i skipped a gen

Sm4sh and Mario Kart 8 were pretty enticing for me but ehhh, it just wasn't quite enough on its own!

Come on, why don't a lot of people buy the Wii U? It's not that bad.
