Those Audi AEL 5 cylinder diesels are amazing! Forged pistons and rods i believe? It's a shame that they piss oil out for a living but that's VAG for you! I've got 2 850 TDI wagons sitting in storage for the last 8 years, I'm going up next weekend to get one started!!

Those TDi engines are stupidly realible, my 850 with same engine has over 380k miles and still has good amount of power. 🤘

I have a 2004 preface lift s60 d5, which lower uj will fit my car as i have the same problem i think, or can the uj be disassembled and lubricated up to unstick/unseize it?

If I recall correctly you can tell by the union type on the power steering pump which type rack you have. The forums know better than me, there are two types of rack and I forget the names.
