Hello again Finn! Happy 10 years post-op! 🥳 It's always lovely surprise gift to see you in my notifications! AW! Chris is so adorable and goofy! 😄🥰 Still looking good there buddy! You've healed nicely inside and out 😊 I had a reduction before I had full top surgery, so my nips don't work, they're just decoration. I do miss the sensation, but they still do just fine! You bring up so many excellent points. 1. You're never too old to transition! I have a friend who just had her lower surgery done, and she's in her early 70's 👍 2. Just because life hits you with other illnesses doesn't mean transition isn't "worth it". If anything, it makes going through the other illnesses easier because at least you feel more like yourself, more resilient than if we didn't transition at all. Pip's paws were moving like he was dreaming he was walking 🐩🐾🐾 Lamby's hiding behind the plant hehe! (Almost like "elf on the shelf", but better!) Yes Finn, you need to learn to love yourself as much as we love you! I think I found your channel when I was starting my transition, and wanted to see if there were people more my age out there, yours was one of the channels I found, and 2 other ones. I tried making my own videos on here, but I don't edit, and I record in the dark. I wasn't in it for money, just to be another older trans person out there with stuff to share.

And I love what you said about the resilience of being yourself, this is so true, because if I wasn't me, if I had ME/CFS and dysphoria, I would not be coping at all, I doubt Id be here. What keeps me going, rooted to this planet, is the sheer gratitude for the life I have , even if its tough at times, at least Im authentically me.. Love you fella! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Mr Yelland is still operating (unless he has stopped within the last couple of years). I had my top surgery with him on the NHS in July 2021 in Torquay (where he moved to). He took a break from operating when he relocated to Torquay but started operating again in 2021. He did a great job with my chest too, the sheer relief is just too big for words. So glad that I chose him 😁

Finn!!! You gorgeous man. I love how hou represent the human experience in such depth!! I am so thankful you share yourself with the world. I suppose cis gender (or trans) that didn't live in complete non congruence of body and brain can't understand being at home in your body, and it matching what you feel in your insides, your brain to some, but to me it's just my insides, feeling like relief over and over. Breats felt like disgusting betrayal to me. The idea of pressing them against people in hugs, even the Innocent hugs from a child, felt repulsive to me. I totally relate to what you are saying. Not having top surgery until 50 and me being 7 yrs out from it....I am still as giddy as you are. I love my best. I despised my boobs.

Hello you gorgeous being! Absolutely yes, I think only we can fully understand the pure joy of a body that is truly congruent with who we are. It's only when you've experienced the opposite that you can ever experience the relief and gratitude that we have I think. I doubt this giddy feeling will ever leave, and I'm glad about that! To not feel that sickness and wrongness at a simple hug is such a relief! I love hugging!!! I'd love to get to hug you one day! Have a fabulous holiday season my dearest friend 💕

This story reminded me of something that three female friends went through - they all had overly large breasts that were physically uncomfortable to live with. All three finally had breast reduction surgeries and they felt tremendously better afterwards. All three said they wished they hadn’t waited so long to do it because of how freeing and relieving it was to no longer have that literal burden. One said she felt like a teenager again. Not exactly the same as a trans operation but not totally different either.

Your scars are beautifull healed and you look great overall. Thank you for your videos and education about transmen, a subject still not very known in society. I am a transman myself and somehow most people assume that being a transman is an over the top butch lesbian or something like that. It is so hard to educate people and I don't have the patience for that anymore. But you can explain it very well in your videos. So again thank you for that and my best wishes from the Netherlands.

I wish people didn't connect you being transgender and medically transitioning with chronic illness because it's just not as cut and dry and that's not a helpful or kind assumption to make. and yeah, like you said, plenty of people who have chronic illness just exist. so the other thing is the inherent ableism of those comments that are saying that being differently abled is a bad thing... so, on the upside, more awareness for the work we have to continue to try to be less ableist as people and a society and stuff. but also, yeah. I'm 40 and I haven't had top surgery yet. and I'm still longing for it. and I hope to make that a reality. and I exist. and yeah, lots of people didn't have opportunities and/or money to do so earlier in life, especially back in the 2000s and 90s and 80s.. etc. when it was much harder to come by awareness or find community, just out here trying to figure out stuff alone with little resources... ..and then it really seemed like it was getting a lot better in the late 2010s... but yeah, now, with all the everything... anyway, I waffle a lot too... sending good vibes your way. point is, don't listen to the negative comments. just the ones that shower you with support and kindness. :)

Congrats on 10 years!! ❤ I'm in my early 20's, waiting for top surgery and it brings me so much joy to see where I could be when I'm older. I may not be currently physically disabled but I guess in some way I can sort of relate with my mental health issues. I've had this internalized irrational thought eat at me sometimes that because I struggle so much with doing basic things my transition has been worthless, even though rationally I know it's very much not the case. I may still struggle lots mentally but I get to be myself and I wouldn't change that for the world. :) This is a very important and meaningful conversation to have, thank you for sharing ❤
