My friend asked me to give him a makeover. I didn't want to tell him what to wear or what to like. He can be overly focused on being trendy, so I told him "trends come and go every 2 minutes, but if you have your own personal style, you'll be timeless". So what I did was I took him to a really fun retro shop with a lot of fun things from the 60s-70s, just for some inspiration. It has a big range of colours and patterns to kinda widen your perspective of what's out there. I asked him questions about what colours he likes, patterns, cuts, pretty much playing detective at finding out what *he actually likes*. He called me back some weeks later after he had gone shopping and he was SO HAPPY. ❤
