what your statement reads as; out of desperation of hopes and hormones, mostly hormones, you jumped into the first relationship that would have you. she obviously had very low prospects and you fit that perfectly. dude, if you want to find the right one for you, you first have to be the right one for yourself. if you were, and still in that relationship, you probably could have been the one to lead her into being the woman you would have preferred her to be instead of bailing on her, after, you signed up. what would you say about a guy who does that, using a woman out of desperation only to bail when it got intense, serious and real? it seems more likely she force fed you that red pill cuz she could see you werent capable of what you said you were.

Years later it turned out once he learned we were looking for flatmates, he signed up while plotting a revenge on me for chatting with his girlfriend in high school. I think this is very natural tbh. It’s perfectly normal for a woman that was once insanely in love with you and would have done anything for you to one day fall out of love with you and move on completely, zero feelings attached. My theory is that for some reason this process is different for men. I feel like a man who falls in love with a woman never really gets over her. He just learns to live without her/adjust to the pain? Maybe pain is a bad word but it seems like these feelings last longer for men. Why is that? You can totally stay in your masculine frame and erase her from your life but most men never truly get over it in the way women do. Hope a decent discussion can be had for this.
@ramsenalbazi7435
@ramsenalbazi7435 3 жыл бұрын
It’s because women have an abundance mindset. They know they have MULTIPLE options for men and they hate rejection so they move on (and monkey branch) to another man extremely fast essentially forgetting about the previous dude while he’s still wondering what happened. She’s not yours it’s just your turn so take it and keep it moving.

@@ramsenalbazi7435 I would have to disagree. Basically in my 20s I was a Chad. Of course I didn't realize this until my 30s. However in my 20s two women stood out to me. I hate what they did, but still loved them. They still occupy my mind too much. Even when I met a unicorn that has been good to me for 9 years now. I believe when men fully love someone they will always love them. We just have to learn to live with out them because they are bad for us.

@@nicholashenderson6941 this is exactly what I’m fucking talking about. A man could be redpilled to the fullest, following his dreams and living to his fullest potential but for some reason he still thinks about a woman he loved like 10 or so years ago pretty frequently. Women don’t really have this problem, they could rid every feeling they ever had of you and move on but I’ve seen it time and time again from men where they never really get over love. They simply just learn to live with the pain. They occupy their lives with productive endeavours, go on to pursue greatness but that woman still some how lives dormant in the back of their minds. They have no intention of rekindling this old relationship, not pursing her, don’t want her, on to better things but yet they think of this woman often. It’s so weird, it makes no sense.

All women are different and unique. Every now and then you will miss an aspect of character one had and the others not. It might be upbeat conversations or common interests you shared, a good vibe or memories. You might be in couple and miss those things but then you need to be more creative and find ways to fulfill your life other than through a woman.

That’s actually what I did to get over my ex even though I irrationally still had feelings for her. I realized and spotted the things that weren’t in that relationship that I would’ve wanted from a long term partner. I noted that she didn’t prioritize me or try her best to make this relationship work. It seemed like I was doing most of the work to keep it going and I was just oblivious in life to the point where I accepted those circumstances thinking that there’d be something more as she seemed to promise. Overall, I’m glad that it happened and that it’s now over since I can focus on better things. Also, sometimes your brain just has a hard time of letting old habits go like letting go of a relationship. The good moments seem to overshadow the bad aspects of the relationship because you feel uncomfortable now that feeling is missing in your life. So you irrationally try to justify why you need to get back and not try to move on from it. It’s definitely a tough process but you could definitely learn a lot from it when you’re over it.

Most guys are not in love with the girl, but in love with the IDEA of being with her. It's called limerence. What often happens is that if the guy actually got together with her, he would realize quickly that she is not worth pedestalizing. She farts, snores and got the same issues, if not more than most people do. If she is not giving him the time of her day, it means that her actions are telling him to move on.

The study found several couples that fought 24/7 yet were still deeply connected due to the shared trauma.

R.A.D. - reactive attachment disorder - could be laying at the base of this case. I would suggest seeking a good psychologist, a shrink if you will who could investigate and diagnose the issue properly. I know I have it, I simply don't let go, I can get overly attached to ppl not proportionately to actual interactions with them, to the timespan etc. I don't think a regular rationalisation will help in any way, shape or form. The guy actually mentioned his logic is good, so... I don't know why we openly encourage guys to getting rectal examinations, but you almost never hear encouragement to see a shrink and get the head checked out..

I'm not an evolutionist but I agree with you on some of your facts about human nature. As a Christian if I married a man and he became a quadriplegic because of an accident... I would still have principled love for him... but in many ways he would not be the man that I desire. But today there's a lot of people men AND women who have no principles.

I still think of my ex. I think fondly of her. But it’s over. Now I broke up with her, so it’s a little different. She broke up with you so she clearly didn’t value you enough. No point in wasting energy on someone that doesn’t value you. The hind brain, the instinctual part of the mind, is much more sophisticated than the forebrain. So dealing with this at the deep, subconscious level is probably the approach. Hypnosis, as Rich recommended

A better woman would have helped, encouraged, and strengthened him in the process. She's in his head because of the the additional trauma she placed on him during that time by NOT CHOOSING to be a better woman.

If I stole your car and crashed it... ... I assume you would totally GAF. Even though I am the criminal your insurance may go up. I want a few people to care about me. As a Christian I have principled concern for everyone. I cannot personally care about all 7 + billion people in the world. I don't expect all 7 + billion people to care about me personally. You should GAF about defamation. If a woman falsely accused you of rape that would totally FU your life. Intentional defamation as a crime in Canada and it should be. And you should GAF.

I was in love with a woman that had a toxic boyfriend at the time back in 2011. She and I were intimate with each other. Played me like a piano. I remained infatuated with her up until she picked a new boyfriend just a week ago. To be honest her looks have deteriorated a lot these past years. Honestly I don’t think she could of offered me anything that I don’t already have. Sooooo over her now. Been single for 10 years now snd going strong. I don’t need a woman and I don’t need sex. I’m an alpha lone wolf.

@@WALKINGWITHFIREMUSIC - Was that ever even a posed question? If a man can stay alive without a women? I’d sure hope not. “Doing just fine?” By your own admission you were “infatuated” with this girl merely a week ago. So excuse me for giggling slightly at your response. Sounded more overcompensative & bitter in my honest opinion. 😅 Just as a heads up -> the term “Lone Wolf” is meant to describe older females driven from the pack or the young females searching for a pack of their own. The “Alpha” would naturally be the leaders & main breeders of a current (pack/family) certainly not the “lone” anything. You’d be best described as an Omega Nomadic Lion if you are using the animal kingdom as an analogy. 🧐 Simply meaning you’ve chosen to be (given up on) out of relationships & are a wandering MALE without a pack/pride/family of their own. Nothing more, nothing less. Again best to you Sir. I mean no hard feelings.

Not sure if you’ll see this but real question, kinda new to this. I’m turning 20 soon and i’m definitely not a player, i dropped out of school earlier in life cause of private reasons, am introverted and don’t make any money. However, i am pretty fit, tall and have objectively nice facial features. I have girls walking up to me and staring at me, and when i tell them as both a joke and seriously how quite frankly worthless i am in my life right now, they’re still persistent about going on a date, having a one night stand to put it politely, etc etc. Now i know they’re probably just sluts, but do fitness and looks get seen as some sort of worth/value? Thanks in advance and honestly loved the life stories. Also, greetings from the Netherlands
