I've been in the Air Force for 18 years. I've seen this same situation time and time again. I'm not sure why a man of his significance would even consider dating another military woman. These women are pursued so heavily since the time they put their uniforms on for the first time. It's absolutely insane how many options military women have, they will take advantage of every single time.

Spot on. Been in 15 years myself and had to learn the hard way. Statistically, we have the best looking women compared to other branches but looks aside, pretty much every female in the military behave the same and have that same sense of self entitlement when it comes to men. Bunch of bored army guys some who are stuck on base most of the week, whos standards don't exist will constantly be trying to get in her pants flooding her with attention, it will never be worth the headache.

A lot of non-pilots in the comment section remarking how pilots can just take their pick...well as a military aviator, I wish that was the case, but in my experience most civilian women either do not understand or care what I do, are not interested in learning, or worse see it as a red flag: "He'll never be around" "I'll have to move all the time" "That's dangerous!" "I just don't _get_ the military" "Military guys are all low-brow conservatives looking for housewives" and so forth. Actually one of the more disappointing realizations of my adult life.

I'm a fighter pilot myself, so trust me on this: there are no cheat codes. You think it's that simple? Just flirt with chicks anywhere and pretend you are a fighter pilot, and see how easy it is. TLDR: it's not. Socially, being a fighter pilot gives you three seconds of attention with women, like many other things. If you play it well, it can be used to initialize contact, build some clout or provide social proof in some situations. However, it doesn't turn your mindset into some natural alpha Chad. It doesn't make you aware of sexual dynamics. It doesn't cure you from oneitis. It doesn't turn you into a sex god. On the contrary, military personnel are oftentimes heavily inclined to sacrifice and to "do what's right", resulting in bad decision-making with women. Most coworkers I know are very unaware, and do the same types of mistakes Rich is continously trying to teach men about. It helps in another way, though. Being a fighter pilot includes a lot of practicing, physical training, and personal development. Countinously pushing ones comfort zone, learning how to fly, how to fight and how to lead, will develop you as a person and build general confidence and self awareness. These things will build your character and can help your game/life, but this can also be achieved by many other means. Any person wholeheartedly engaging in a craft/skill/training will achieve similar traits. Becoming a fighter pilot boosted my game just marginally. However, the things I've learned from all the Rule Zero guys have boosted my game tremendously.

Advise for AF Pilot: 1. Buy Unplugged Alpha Printed Copy. Don't get the Audio. Get the print book so you can carry it with you, read it, and re-read it. It's a lifestyle and that's a Bible. 2. Are you a student of fighting arts? Doesn't sound like it. A person involved in fighting arts tend to cultivate a savage mentality and don't sweat the small stuff. You may have the outer body of a Lambo, but still running a Corolla engine. Tom Cruise look? Sounds like a pretty boy outlook. Get rogued, look like you have no issues breaching a door, walking in mud, and jumping in the cage and killing. 3. What worked then, won't work now. Being a pilot may have carried you for a bit, but that ain't going to cut it anymore. You need to get in there and do the work. Remember, it's a De-Selection process, not Selection. Instead of sitting in a fetal position, by the corner, around a pool of urine, rocking back and forth soobing for being ghosted, get up and start doing the work. Be safe. Be dangerous.

After 15 years of marriage I betatized myself through 1000 concessions. After she cheated I should've been devastated but I'm not. Essentially I realized the fault was mine because I lost my frame. You have preassigned frame my dude. You walk into most situations with the knowledge that you're an AF pilot, good looking/fit and successful. Don't pedestalize women. It's the worst thing we can do as men. She should be clawing to get at you, if she's not, move on to the next one because she's not worth your time. Oneitis is a tough bug to shift. Working hard on it (deleted her basically) but I get the feelings of frustration that she hasn't just gone from me. Just keep working on myself and perservering but I'd love to just have an off switch for it.

If she's banging someone else, you weren't her first choice, the best you could hope for is clean up duty while she keeps looking for whatever she considers her next top shelf guy. She may indeed have some qualities that make her unique and/or desirable. That doesn't mean that she doesn't have that ONE red flag or flaw that would lead to a nightmare of a relationship. It's usually something emotional/psychological that will mess everything up eventually. Just keep looking. The best relationships are the ones that work organically, no chasing/manipulating from either partners. And always remember that being single isn't the worst outcome out there.

I'm not an expert in psychology, but in some cases like this, people tend to choose someone who is actually treating them bad, or at least not good enough. Normally most of the cases goes down to an earlier past that they went through, guys find themselves repeating it subconsciously. He mentioned that he was the fat guy in the school, well maybe and just maybe that's a good start to where these problems are coming from. If you are reading my comment, consider meeting a real therapist with real understanding to human psychology. Well when women leave or ghost you constantly, it just means you get more opportunities to move on. I don't really like dating a lot of women at the same time (they get clingy and spiteful that I have s*** to do) however, even though I never say it directly, they get a sense that I have options and I move on fast. In other words, you have to relish a breakup, because this gives you an opportunity to see other women. Honestly, for every girl who you might think is one-of-kind, there's 20 girls she is friends with who are exactly the same and 100 more you haven't met because you don't want to be with anyone else but the one who you don't want to move on from. I think the biggest red flag about the girl he is into is that she won't give him 100%. As a high value man you always have to accept nothing less than 100% from your woman.

The whole I fly planes mantra gets old. I've half been there done that. The fact is some women aren't going to take the man who's consistently choosing career over family (especially if she's already established and has family locally). It's hot as hell for them, but it's "fun" not the "one" in their minds. Be willing to take on a long distance relationship, try to compromise closing the gap once it sets off. Also limits the commitment and you can take vacations to a new place and if the chemistry is good guaranteed. Women who are unsure will also be into this "try before you buy" situation, where it'd feel messier if you were local...and worse if she's just playing the game of musical chairs of who has the best social circle/rank/status amongst your colleagues on base. It isn't always the job that's hot, it's what you've built for yourself and that isn't limited to career. The uniform is a bonus. You could be literally anyone and if your job has you in a uniform doing something even semi considered important you'll have chicks on you. Dudes right though, it sounds like your game / friend circles / sense of humour needs a bit of tuning. Getting into new hobbies might help too (think chicks would dig, think dancing, gymnastics, etc.) The "I'm a pilot" can always be a surprise and a panty dropper with a uniform. Never lead with the sprinkles. They want cake.

The problem is not oneitis, i think, that's only a derivative. The main problem is that there are no many women out there more o less adjusted to your plans (if not ONS) and who doesn't conflict with them, that is, a companion, a partner in life along to who you can overcome the natural difficulties that will unavoidably arrive. You can jump from woman to woman unsatisfied even as an alpha if you pretend a LTR, so you can imagine what are the battles a non alpha has to endure... Among all these girls, you can meet the one you like, but if there's a break up, it can take months or years anyway to find another one -although you are banging different girls every weekend (and of course you'll see them as a not LTR material). I don't think a man brain can fall in love many times in a life time or, at least, in his prime years. Being this true (by hypothesis, let's assume), then you must find the "correct" girls. All in all, chances decrease and decrease when more conditions are to be met. So in a sense perhaps to have a oneitis is not so antievolutionary or unnatural; that is, your instinct subconsciously knows what can you achieve, what is around you achievable and how much time is up to you before it is much more difficult.
